I watched many many castnet instruction videos but this is by far the easiest to learn from. And you don't have to hold messy net in your mouth!

You can always rely on aussies.

you throw like me..no need to lay any part of the WET net over any part of your body.. I grab the net halfway like you do..but I lay the weighted end over my bunched hand (palm side up)only once..I grab the weighted end again with my left hand as far as my arms stretch (palm side down)..as I toss the net crossing my hands, I keep tension with my left hand..this opens the net..If your new to cast netting..practice in your yard until you get it right before you try it at the water..good luck
