I played this one before. It's hard but it's really clever and fun. Only problem is if you loose your cubes, you're screwed. And that slit is TOO FREAKING TINY! It took me forevar to shoot a portal thru that thing.

Portal should be Game of the Year. It's more inventive and more fun than BioShock or Mass Effect or Crysis.

Unfortunately, because of its short length, I really doubt many critics will be showing the love that the game deserves.

I know, i don't even know if any sites or magazines have reviewed the game in itself, i think they've all done it as the whole orange box, only fans have done portal-specific reviews

I think you are right and the problem is that when critics do review the games they fail to realize the complete potential of the game's modification and expansion possibilities, because with source SDK it is soooo easy to create your own maps and I think that critics should try to take this in more. It's a mod world out there.

its not boring, if you like the half life series it fits in there as sorta a glimpse into what the combine have done, buy oj box its fun game really
