    AWESOME SHIT.

  • Chester

  • Totally fucked up......why do I like it?...

  • @SteinUndStahl666 its like a stan brakhage film

  • I've just learned of Boyd Rice and his music, and I'm fascinated. But to be honest, I really don't get it; I need some explanation, because this style is not something I'm familiar with. Not to sound crude, but what is the "point" of this music, or rather, what message is Boyd trying to convey? I want to be able to enjoy this music as much as I possibly can, but It's too confusing for me to genuinly appreciate just yet. If someone could share some insight, I'd be thankful.

  • @bassman7530 Boyd Rice subscribes to some pretty stark and harsh philosophies,satanism,nazism/facism,nihilism,etc etc ,the point is to be at war with the complacent, the banal, and the superficial, the problem is(and this is what makes it unaccesable) the facist aestetic kind of forces its own kind of conformity on the audience, and IMHO you dont have to get it to enjoy ,jut look at it this way "sometimes darkness is beautiful" if you like this look up "the litanies of satan" by Diamanda Galas

  • pure beautiful sound art with a pure iconographic sense

  • I don't get it, ten minutes of flashing swastikas?

  • @MusicalArmageddon, i think Mr. Rice had a term he liked to use: "de-indoctrination rites." that's what this is, or at least that's how i see it. do a little research into his work and the counterculture he's considered to be a part of, and that might help it make a little more sense... it all tends to be very "anti-art," which could be considered as somewhat of a statement.

  • Just before more moronic comments are made, Boyd Rice is NOT a Nazi. Guess what? There is no longer such a thing. There are people who like to think (pretend) they are. There are skinheads, who are just idiots clinging to Nazism to feel like they belong, cos they're really insecure asses. The Nazi movement refers to a very specific group of people and time. Anyone with a brain, especially someone like Boyd, who lives in America (Hitler wouldnt like that, so thats food for though for all you

  • Brilliant.

  • The swastika isn't Nazi anyway. It's the oldest symbol known to humankind.

  • @Kirke182

oh come on stop sugar coating it, lol.

  • @thunderbolt885 what? What? WHAT??

  • @Kirke182 please stop saying such bullshit.... Boyd Rice is an evil man and that is what's so lovable about him. This is not some reference to buddhism or ancient religion, this is pure nazi-nihilism!

  • @Vesters1 Well, you're here commenting on it, aren't you? So we're in the same boat. I don't know Boyd Rice and I don't give a shit if he is a Nazi or not. I loved Children of the Black Sun so there's no point to denying it. If he is a Nazi, there's no others that I waste two seconds listening to. That makes him more dangerous than all the others with all their endless bullshit preaching which only makes me laugh at them.

  • @Kirke182 Yeah, but it's used in the context of Nazism. It would have no shock value if it wasn't.

  • @xXPinkGoddessXx it doesn't shock me at all. I was raised to regard it in a whole different way. I don't know who is worse: people who love it because they think it symbolizes white supremacy or people who hate it because they think it symbolizes white supremacy. It has NOTHING whatsoever to do with white supremacy--NOTHING. That's like the Tea Party adopting the yen symbol then half the country loves the yen symbol and other half hates it. It's just stupid.

  • @Kirke182 You may have been, but most people who see it and react to it think of Nazism immediately. That's why Rice uses it. That doesn't make him a Nazi or a white supremacist, it just means he uses it for the purpose of shock value or shock humour.

  • @xXPinkGoddessXx That says more about the people who are shocked by it than it does him. WW2 is over. It's time to put the swastika back to its rightful place in human history and quit foaming at the mouth every time we see one. That just makes them want to wear them all the more.

  • @Kirke182

It's not. Dotted Circle is suppose to be the oldest symbol.

  • @gombie Swastikas have been found in the Indus Valley dating back at least 7000-9000 years. I don't know of any symbol older than that.

  • @Kirke182

Guess that's true, but dotted circle is asumed to be the oldest... Just like they assume prostitution to be the first profession. Both of them make sense.

  • @gombie The point is, the swastika has nothing to do with white power. It's damned ridiculous for anyone to think so--anyone.

  • @Kirke182

True, and when hitler took it, he took a popular symbol famous in many cultures...

In germany i think it ment Luck.

  • @gombie It was very popular in the U.S. and Britain before the war. It's still very popular in the Far East where it is so ingrained in those cultures that they do not in any way relate it to Nazism and it is still highly popular among American Indians who also do not associated in any way with Nazism.

  • @Kirke182

Well, what i've heard... Is that in india there's a growing number of people who admire hitler and they want a strong leader like him... And some muslims are interested in nazism because of the anti-semitism.

I know the swastika is popular there, but it's also popular because of these things..

  • @gombie I wouldn't put too much stock in what people say. Go to India then you can tell me if it's so. I strongly doubt it. As for Muslims--well...

  • @Kirke182 - yup it's the 2nd oldest Kristian symbol next to the ichthys (fish). found all throughout the world from iceland to cambodia. the hooked-cross & fylfot 2 the xtian world, the suvastika or swastika to the persian/indian/buddhist. Its the symbol for nature's law, god(the author of nature)'s law, for the tao. meditate on it. use it in life, in science, in study, in religion, in political philosophy, in health. Be well by embracing and using the continual and eternal change.

  • @willyrobinson From what I hear, it's the only cross found in the Roman catacombs. Others say there are other crosses there. I don't know since I've never been there but I would at least assume there are swastikas down there and probably predate the other crosses. There's depictions of Jesus as an Old Testament figure and as Orpheus. Almost no depictions from the New Testament since it wasn't written yet so these early Christians must have been very different.

  • @Kirke182 well since a little thing happened in 1939 its nazi in case you didnt notice :D

  • @xelacrypt The Nazis existed for 12 years and we're supposed to let that wipe out 9000 years of human history? Obviously, the Nazis rule your life and thoughts. To some of us, they were barely ever here.

  • @Kirke182 well firstly there is a little place called Europe where there was an actual war. Secondly yeah, things change in history. Just like spanish wiped out thousands of years of mayans and stuff. This is a Nazi swastika, if you think its the pagan one, than why is it facing the wrong direction mr. historian? Go and watch Iconclast, the documentary about Boyd rice, its available on torrents.

  • genius.

  • nazinoise? that's kinda weak...

  • that has got to be the dumbest thing i have ever seen its more pathetic than the blair witch project boyd rice is an empty headed dreamer and he is lost so if u follow someone who is lost than ur lost too thats 10 minutes of my life i cant get back i shouldve known better

  • @finfan81177

Feels like it's hard to swallow for you, isn't it? That's gooood.

  • @ratdancer77 yeah i really hate nazis theyre pathetic

  • @finfan81177 Well, that teaches you for following through with it, haha. Obviously if you're sitting through the first couple minutes and it sucks, why would you continue to watch it? Why did you....FOLLOW...through with the rest of the video?

  • @twilightkinko i dont know i was hoping there was something else boyd rice really sucks he should kill himself since he is obviously so miserable

  • @twilightkinko i have no idea why i sat through it but i did like i said i shouldve known better ;)

  • If the white supremacist movement as a whole was like Boyd Rice they might actually be a danger to something other than themselves.

  • I got to meet Boyd last sunday after he performed at the echo in LA. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy. The show didn't sell out but seemed well attended and was great.

  • I went to my university's art gallery and they sure don't have things like this. Maybe someday college people will have balls to go with their brains

  • Boyd rice is cool. But The only places I've really found his music is in small record stores like Vinyl Fetish in LA.

  • @screendrem I'm from Houston, I've only seen his records at Sound Exchange because they have a variety of noise, experimental records. Looked at a vinyl of Hatesville a few weeks ago.

  • Hail the black sun.

  • Black sun o.ô xD

  • AVMmmmmmm)))

  • hmmm... only 644 views? i know boyd rice is pretty underground stuff, but i would've expected more than that! and no comments at all? disappointing. our culture is so barren, and something brilliant like boyd rice comes along and is just ignored! figures.

well, for the first comment... i'll just say something about how much i enjoy boyd rice and all his kindred "aesthetic terrorist" misanthropes. long live boyd rice!

  • If you like Boyd Rice (Aesthetics Terrorist), you should love Carlos he sung TOTAL WAR - PAPAYOU LELE - TIRLIPIMPON - BIG BISOU (I love: "Do you want BIG BISOU? Do you want BIG BISOU? Yes i want , BIG BISOU!) with Boyd Rice.

He is now in Jail because in France because he really did Artistic and Real Terrorism....
