In a way, this lecture is one big algebra lesson. The purpose of algebra it is to find what x and y represent as part of an equation. Isn't this what Icke is doing? Trying to explain an equation (zeitgeist) through the representations of quotes from other people (the x and y of algebra) and all his talk of symbolism and interpretation. In fact, symbolism and interpretaion are the literature equivalents of algebra in maths. Think about that one Mr Icke Boom boom...

Icke macht einen sehr verwirrten Eindruck in seiner Philosophie. Allein seine dämliche "Free-your-mind"-Botschaft: Wovon soll ich meinen "Geist" befreien? Von allem, was ich je erfahren und erlebt habe? Oder von allen meinen Bedürfnissen? Falls ja, so bleibt dann alles andere als "Unendlichkeit" übrig, es bleibt gar nichts! I agree with David about algebra, 30 years ago I told my teacher the same thing when asked to answer the equation x+y=z, who the fuck do I know what z is equal too, when x isn't a number nor is y, and you aren't given x or y as representations of a number so z must =0! I was told I was wrong but the teacher refused to explain why!

@kryckeestrooff i can see why your would say it is usless, unless your going to school for somthing like biochemistry (my degree) but i can asure you there was never a question like X+Y=Z. Once you start to understand it, it actualy has purpose. But dont take this comment the wrong way, i hated algerabra in highschool, and i am one of the educated people that loves icke. If you relize the truths in this lecture then you are far smarter then most of the closed minded (educated)idiots i work with.

@Jarrodmontelius Actually I found in useful dabbling with computer variables, but that's about it, and there were no computers when I went to school! :) I do like David Icke's lectures, though I'm not convinced he has everything correct, his views on education makes more sense than anything they ever said at school. I think Looney Tunes Leghorn Foghorn typified this with the geeky kid that accomplished the impossible by using mathematical formulas! :)

3rd time I watched this whole lecture, I always feel my blood flooding and my heart pumping, it's amazingly nice how he puts in words what I feel and smell about this world ... Teachers should show these lectures in their lessons instead of useless information to keep students from the truth...
