This always makes me question the F-16. I personally despise the F-16 for its single engine. For reasons like this, I mean what happens when you lose one engine and you only have ONE engine? That is right, you have to attempt to bring it back around and have it repaired. Or even worse, you have to bail out and crash a $28.9 million dollar aircraft. Thus proving the F-15 a much more capable jet...but that is my opinion. (No rants on this please.)

My comment was to demonstrate that, performance wise, you cannot compare the Mig29 to the F16 since they are different classes of fighters. The F15 would be a more equitable comparison since it is in a similar class to the Mig29, performance wise that is. Wasn't referring to the combat capability of either fighter. I agree that the Mig29 is well designed fighter & an awesome flying machine and wasn't attempting to put it down.
