That was part one in the series.

In part two the BBC team construct a desert Burger King for the elephants.

At last the BBC are spending the licence payers money wisely for once.

300kg per elephant. It's 3 of them on this clip. That gives 900kg of food a day. BBC team would need pretty complex catering system to give them something to eat. Cargo helicopter might come in handy. :)

@lexmark136 but the environment that they live in depends on them! you see, the elephants are one of the keystone species in the savanna of africa. they control the environment around them. their like nature's lawn mowers, clearing overgrown grass or dead trees from the area and eating them. their dung actually act as fertilizer for the next generation of plants in the savanna. without the elephants nothing would be controled or balenced.
