That is a touchscreen LCD simulating a button box by using Touchbuddy free software.

hey, im interested in buying this but i live in an apartment bldg and wanted to know how much noise this makes. Do you think that the motion will be heard by the tenants below me?

Unfortunately, it does make a lot of noise.
You will need to implement some sort of noise/vibration absorber to avoid your neighbors willing to kill you! ;-)

This is not a monitor, but a 42" HD TV.
Check out the 3rd video of the series, showing my current config of 3 x 50" projection screens... ;-)
