If you find a skunk in your chicken coop, the you need to do a better job of securing your coop. I haven't lost a chicken to a predator in over 3 years.

we had skunks on our farm adn we always ignored them. then one day when we was up in teh field we saw them pulling down corm stalks to get to the corn, so we decided to eradicate them. in one day we shot 28 skunks. so i guess we had an infestation. yes, the whole field stunk the whole season
