I just got done racing an MS3 with my SRT4 from a 20 roll and he beat me by a half car length cause i fucked up on shifting to 3rd like a dumbass. hey dude, I'm pretty sure you raced a regular mazda 3, I've beat the new evos and STI's with my Mazdaspeed3, and from what I've seen, the turbo pt is not in our leauge. Not trying to be a jerk, but if you beat a mazda, it was a mazda 3, not a Mazdaspeed3.
it was a mazdaspeed3. it had a turbo. and it didnt flat out murder my car. If it helps you believe any, my pt isnt stock and its missing quite a few interrior pieces.
It is most definitely a Speed3 (I own one) and from my experience a stock 04 SRT4 will beat a stock Speed3 in the quarter. And there is no way a Speed3 will "murder" an SRT4 unless its turbo is missing.
def. a drivers race. car and driver has the srt4 at 13.9 1/4 mile and the speed 3 at 14.0 1/4 mile. so that tenth of second the srt4 has wouldnt matter if the driver fucked up a shift, or shifted too early. these 2 cars or so close! if i didnt have an srt4 id probably be rolling in a speed 3.

Why don't some of you just look at the facts? The 04 and 05 SRT4s run 0-50 in 5.3-5.6 seconds, quarter mile in 13.8-14.1. The mazdaspeed3s run about 2-3 tenths slower in each category. If you want to compare power numbers, then don't compare what's advertised for the SRT4. Both the HP and TQ are WHEEL RATED, no other car on the road that I'm aware of is.
