  • My god, what a beautiful airplane........

  • LOVE THE CROSSWIND CORRECTION... ::)

  • I like flying but im learning that airplanes in some ways are places which generally lack any kind of care towards people. There seems to be a general lack of care on them towards everybody onboard. Sadly i'm noticing this more and more in society lately. SOciety is getting more and more care free and people generally seem to be showing lack of care towards each other and its all false customer service grovelling is taking over the world. corporations can suck big time

  • Belíssima filmagem! Parabéns Air Canadá pela chegada de seu Boeing 777-300ER!

  • how old is this video my friend?

  • @chaghar This video was taken on March 31st, 2007.

  • this has got to be my favorite aircraft!

  • It's like watching a woman with long legs glide across a modeling runway. AC's livery is perfect I wouldn't change anything about it, & on the 777-300 can't get any better than this.

  • I Love 777, especially AC's 777

  • what FIN number was that?

  • @luckylizard1 Fin 620 / reg # C-FITL

  • No Fin # 620 in Air Canada 777 fleet. 777-200 start with 701 and 777-300 start with 731. Air Canada 767-300 have 600 fin #.

  • Go AC! My father retired off that airplane. He loved it.

  • @mapleavenue77 I love 777s too, and I may become a pilot. If I do, it will be with Delta.

  • @jetairways773 Good luck!

  • @mapleavenue77 Thanks!!

  • Nice vid! also nice landing, you can see the crosswind right at touchdown

    viva A/C

  • That's one sexy plane.

  • from where?

  • @omnia762 Boeing Everett Field

  • was it with passengers or a ferry!

  • @omnia762 This was a ferry flight to Montreal so no passengers.

  • the 777 is my new fav jet and was able see the F model when I toured the 783 and the 748 its pretty amazing

  • Look at that baby crab over and straighten out - only like a true professional plane (Boeing of course) can do! Glad to see AC Flagship Livery is a Boeing 773!

  • k i can say this now because it didnt happen but that woulda been shitty if it landed on the spectators

  • this is 777-300ER

  • soo nice!

  • Air canada it's nice ! your so B.S

  • you suck

  • lol thats why its the top NA airline and one the top in the world?

    idiot

  • no airline sucks, exept biman haha

  • The Boeing 777 just looks great in this livery. It's on par with Air France, British Airways, and Singapore Airlines! =( If only United's was as simply sophisticated as this.

  • where were standing?

  • u want to know the location of where they took the vid ?

  • ya, i know the airport just not where next to the airport

  • kk when u go to the airport there is sign on the highway it a plane follow it then turn to the 55th avenue and you will be there search it at google map

  • this ottawa intl ?

  • No, it's Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport in Montreal.

  • NICE!!

  • Wow...that looked like a crosswind landing

  • I love Air Canada´s new color scheme.

  • Air canada is awesome!

  • 773, my fav plane =)

  • wtf r you on?

  • Looks like crosswind landing.

  • it really is

  • I have flown Air Canada more than any other airline. They are one of the worlds Best airlines. There inflight service is awesome. Plus they have one of the best maintenace records in the industry. I am proud to fly Air Canada.. a wonderful Airline.

  • good inflight service .. and you will have more time to enjoy it because their ontime performance is below industry average

  • @wild1heart I agree with you, Air Canada is the best. But the only thing I don't like about them is the food. The food is not so delicious.

  • @wild1heart , i dont understand how the inflight service is awesome. you need to pay for food and drink which sucks

  • @tedlam168 are you dumb? most airlines make you pay, if you have ever flown air canada long distance they feed you. and awesome service doesnt just mean they give you free shit you idiot means they actually interact with you and help you when you need help

  • nope i ant talking about AA im talking about AC when i was on one of the planes the one from calgary that almost crashed and dropped i actually threw my bag of chips into the cockpit

  • That was west jet you idiot. I dont remember anybody throwing bags of chips. If you're gonna make up stories get your facts straight.

  • that was not westjet west jet is THE BEST BY Far airline. and u probably werent on that flight so u need ot get facts straight buddy

  • According to a survey, in 2009, the best airline was Singapore Airlines.

This was mainly favoured by men because most of the stewardesses have large t*ts

  • ur dumb

  • And youre a twat

  • and ur a bigger twat

  • yes but Singapore Airlines has not got as many planes as BA AA UNITED AIRLINES DETLA

  • @injection1000 i agree, but SIA is the biggest buyer of the 777 series

  • @SingaporeAirflyer yh your right there m8

  • Not anymore. It is now emirates. SIA have 77. Emirates will have 95, and at present have 80+

  • Actually United has 98 777's so they're by far the largest operator.

  • @quazimutato Are You on crack? United has 50-60. Air France SIA and Emirates all have more.

  • Suck my cock you pile of elephant shit!!! United has 76 777's and Continental, which is now a part of United, has 22 with 2 more on order. So fuck you and the horse you rode in on. And Air France, SIA and Emirates can lick a fatty too you goat fucker!

  • @quazimutato Anger management issues? Emirates have 84. United has 76 combined with CO. Therefore 84>76. Get your maths right. Either way in the near future Emirates will have 133. Beat that United lover. Don't forget to wear a condom when United's cock is in your mouth. :)

  • i've never flown with ac i am shocked they way ppl r talking about the airline cause most of the ppl say the airline is ok i think u all getting mixed up with AC and AA lol, AA is the worst thing in aviation.

  • Why would anyone be proud of an archaic company like AC? Having flown them for 25 yrs, whether I wanted to or not, it is probably the worst run airline in the world, with the idea of customer service totally escaping them. A new plane, soon to be filled with customers wondering where there luggage is. The sooner they go broke the better. Let a decent airline like WJ do the job, and not need handouts to do it. A disgrace to Canada. I love Canada, but not AC. Proud Canadian, ashamed of AC.

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I hate when other canadians (Usually ones who have flown on AC once or never) try to paint you as unpatriotic and uncanadian.....

Another PROUD CANADIAN here, that is utterly ashamed of AC.

  • Again ac is the worst canadian airline in the world lots of lost luggage crappy and prissy flight attendtants and worst of all awful pilots that should havent got their licence Ac I would love AC to go down in flames or one of their planes because its just a shitty airline!

  • Hey, saying that every Air Canada pilot is a bad pilot is very general. There's no such thing as a bad pilot.

Air Canada doesn't go around hiring people because they suck at flying.

  • wow.. it looks so shiney and new.

I'll be flying on one of those from Sydney, Australia to Vancouver this summer. Can't wait !

  • 1:10 <<< very nice view

  • beautiful plane, garbage airline.

  • go fuck yourself. move to the US then ya peice of shit.

  • Comment removed

  • um ok? so me hating basically the worlds most terrible airline makes me anti-canadian and therefore I must move to the states??

Maybe you're too young to remember a little airline called "Canadian Airlines"..........now that was an airline.

  • If Canadian was such a great airline, then why is it DEAD?

Your use of foul language, gives you little credibility. Afterall, it's a free country, take which ever airline pleases you.

But such strong emotion over AC, probably means you are in need of psychiatric care!

  • whoa whoa whoa, lets back up there a bit big guy, "garbage" is hardly foul language, especially when compared to your ever so polite response.

There are many reasons why Canadian went under and AC survived the volatile NAmerican market, to cite just one being the fact AC started as a crown corporation and had much better access to debt/wealth management etc.

Such strong emotion FOR anything means you may be in need of some sort of care my friend...I simply made a 4 line comment to begin with.

  • Well, I wonder what comment was removed by the author in your earlier entry? The fact of the matter is that it's futile to compare AC to CP which is dead, no matter what the reason for its demise. But hey, cheer up, AC might go bankrupt this year, and it should bring some hapiness to your life.I'm sure all these bad employees of AC would find jobs at Wallmart or Tim Hortons. Now you can't ask for better than than, can you?!

  • what was removed was a typo and the exact comment was reposted seconds after, if you check your inbox I'm sure you will have a copy of both comments since it was a reply to you. Anyways, no I wont be happy if AC goes bankrupt.....this entire arguement is futile. the 777 rocks, i dont like AC, you do like AC, I like burritos, you may not like burritos, its all good.

  • hilarious. my grand father worked for both, and yes, i do remember them. clown. have a sence of pride. CANADIAN!

  • they arnt terrible you Iraqi peace of shit just because you cant get your bombs past security doesn't make them bad

  • And how often do you fly? Iraqi? Wow, not only are you clueless, you can't spell or type either. I suspect your vocabulary is also deficient . You should have never dropped out in grade 8.

(Sorry if you have to go look up that last word) LOL

  • i fly a lot more then you ever will and Air Canada is not shit stick to your Iraqi airlines al qaeda

  • wow, you're racist too...

  • wow...thats a big bird too....

    strong crosswind hah...

  • Little crosswind there

  • air canada XD

  • 777 > 767.

  • that was a pretty big crosswind/crab

  • precioso avion

  • air force youre correct lol... i can land better with my eyes closed and im not a pilot

  • i fly air Canada all the time and ive never had a problem

  • It touched Canadian concrete not soil.

  • ur an arse

  • haha, wow

  • Great. Now if AC can only do something about it's customer service, it might just be able to get some of it's old customers back.

  • I flew about 5 times, last time as early as October 19th 2008 and I can tell you the service is incredible. They took great care of my grandma who's on a wheelchair, can't possibly ask for more.

They also moved us to an earlier flight at no charge. AIR CANADA ROCKS!

  • Sexy plane. I like how the sun shines along the wing and then the fuselage of the plan as it passes in front of the camera

  • Keep those comment to yourself.Canada is the best country!

  • damn look at that wingspan

  • Glad that Air Canada would finally buy 777s rather than airbus 340s/330s

  • The 777 is such a beautiful plane. Boeing knows how to make an aircraft look the way it should. Flown on a 777 myself twice transatlantically...incredibly quiet compared to other jets its size, very fast, efficient, and modern. It looks great in the Air Canada colors.

  • love that new plane smell

  • So do I, lol

  • Way to go, Uncle Lee!

  • hi can i ask were u got that radio from

  • Hello. The radio is an ICOM IC-R5 and I bought it off eBay.

  • How much does a radio like that cost ?? approx.??

  • If I remember correctly, about $250.00

  • say my amigo that's no a radio is a scanner you can buy'em on any radio shack, fry's electronics, circuit city.best buy ...good luck. they go for 'bout 50 to 100 dlls.you can hear the police frequency all kind of frequencies.

  • So who flies it in on delivery? Air Canada pilots of Boeing pilots?

  • Air Canada pilots were flying this bird.

  • That's awesome. It must be intense for them flying in an aircraft model that is new to the airline. They'd have sim time under their belts, but it would be the first time in the real thing for either pilot. Must be pretty wild!

  • My Uncle! Who now is with A/C out of YVR. (My cousin commented on here too.) (Allow me to boast a bit; she's too modest, so I'll do it!) His name is Lee Jasper. After being a bush pilot stuck out in Kenora, ON in the early 1970's, he went to PWA and then Canadian after the buyout in the 80's and then ended up at A/C, and even at age 42, I'm still a white-knuckle flier, but I'd definitely fly with him anytime.

  • What a beautiful plane

  • Nice Landing.

  • biggest airliner engines 115 thousand pounds of thrust lol thats unholy

  • what about the a380... pretty sure it has bigger engines. Maybe not as much thrust but most deff. the biggest engines.

  • "but most deff. the biggest engines."

    A Trent 900 has a fan diameter of 116", the GE90-110/115B has a diameter of 123".

  • 115,300lbs of thrust to be exact. That gives it a total of 230,600lbs of thrust!! Add up the thrust of a boeing 747 and the 777 will have a bit more.

  • what a beautiful plane... HUGE engines and wings

  • Wow... so graceful.

  • Sniff*

  • Nice crosswind landing skills!

  • Very nice crosswind landing

  • hella nice landing

  • I never thought I'd see an Air Canada 777. Glad to see that plane grace the skies.

  • 777 wow wat a video ive bee waiting for air canada to get 1 congratulations

  • I'll also be on this airplane flying from Montreal to Munich in late May!!!

  • As a Boeing employee here in Winnipeg, it may be bias for me to say that this is the best commercial aircraft in the air today. But...the 787 is on its way ;)

  • My dad was flying this plane! Captain Lee Jasper!

    Congrats, Dad, you deserved it!

    Love Angela

  • Wow really! What a honor he had to pilot this plane. I don't blame you for being proud of him.

  • WOW! LUCKY YOU!!!!

  • Neat

  • Congratulations to Air Canada with the first Boeing 777-300ER Boeing Customer code: 33 Type of Aircraft: Boeing 777-333ER Height: 61 feet and 5 inches Length: 242 feet 4 inches Span: 212 feet 7 inches Wing Area 4,605 Square Feet Engine: GE-90-115B at 115,300 pounds of thrust PER ENGINE! Top Speed: 557 Miles per Hour Fuel Range: 9,068 Miles And Don't forget the engines of that aircraft is like 12 FEET IN DIAMETER! This is going to be extremely impressive!
