BTW: B sure 2 put the same type of light steel strings U use on those Status things, on the Fender (or other alder crapwood bass).

U should do a vid where U try 2 make the P-Bass (or N E other of the countless alder-crapwood body basses on the market) sound as similar 2 the Status as possible, by applying EQ and such. Would B interesting 2 C how much of it is EQ & playing style, & how much is the bass itself. I wager if U played the Fender @ the same speed, with only the bridge pickup, & extremely scooped EQ with absurdly boosted high end, would sound just like a Status. Play just as fast W/same style tho'!
