Ok, another thing is, when talking about DPS, is it effective DPS aka Recount numbers, or DPS while hovering over your Damage stat in the Character Panel?

I'm 76 right now, with around a low 400 DPS in the C panel, but I could pull from 1.2 to 1.6k on boss fights, blowing all CDs. I think it's a bit of a stretch to see my Cpanel DPS jump from 400 to 2.5k just from heroics gear, gems, chants, and buffs. So I'm thinking everyone's talking about Recount #'s.

Oh your dps will easily go to at least 2.5k from heroic gear, with a full epic set (easy to get nowadays) you can easily hit 4k+ dps, and its effective dps from recount, not from your damage stat

That's of course the Recount DPS, the one in your character screen is just your auto shot DPS.

We prefer to just tank him in the middle and have everyone stack on each other. This allows the OT to simply aoe tank right on top of us while Mt tanks on the same spot. On our first kill we did go through 3 phases but it was still the same tactic. Tanks take a little more damage in the later phases so you have to be careful.

Once you clear naxx once though you will have enough gear to kill him during the second phase. With a shaman in the raid its even faster.

I just realized why this works for us, its because we have a shaman healer. He can basically keep everyone up with Chain heals during the mage adds.

i take it you have a pally or DK OT? its no so easy with a bear or a warrior OT to do it your way, but it does work.

I actually have a Warrior tank, and we did it his way and it worked, we got to the second phase and downed him, I just thunder clapped and cleaved and it picked up all adds and when more came if a few were still up i used my challenging shout then thunder clap, and ever time shock wave was up, i would back up over noth and drag the skeletons with me then shockwave, hitting both noth and stunning the adds then i cleaved and they were down :)

i was on the adds, our mt disconnected at 50% i had to tank everything lol and one of the healers disconnected, plus this was last patch so they both got ported out

This video was a big help, but we changed it up a little(although we have done it just like this video). We put the healers and casters where the tank is tanking him in the video and we tanked him a little further out. The reason being is that now the tank and off tank are out front and the adds have to pretty much come thru the tanks to get to the healers. It made it even easier to pick up the adds, and not to mention Noth himself when he ports back down. Casters and healers never had to move.

Just FYI in 10-man the curse can be healed through. In 25-man if you don't get it off it will effectively wipe your raid in a 1 shot.

We did it with zero decurse and it dealt almost negligible damage. We just let the curse go off and just healed through it, it didn't hit the cursed person but maybe 1-2 other people.

When we did Naxx 10 man first time (this week) we had some 5 phases all in all before he died. The DPS we're switching over to the adds to get them down, and the DPS on him was overall pretty low. I was very scared that we would hit the enrage timer, but there were none, and we simply repeated the phases over and over again - on the 5th "down time" we simply had the OT tank the skeletons and had the DPS burn him down. The 2nd phase adds was not a problem at all.. very strange...
