I think this actually one of the first Castelvania game I've really liked!

The pacing is great, they don't simply 'toss' you into the game, searching the manual for clues *as I had to do with Dawn of Sorrow* and the combat is fun, they removed much of the limits to your magic abilities.

A must-have for anyone with a DS!

i really can't wait for it many years of great castlevania games are finally being continued with this one and judgement. does anyone know of an exact release date. all i know is that its suppose to be this month. Oct.

huh i wonder what the glyph that appears after killing monsters does... mebbe it IS like Soma's power of dominance...

oh and for those saying how the boss looks like a boss from contra, Konami made both games so it would make sense...

for those who argue that the attack system would make the game less fun, it's just like halo's shield system except here, you can't fight back until you've recovered XD... anyways the short time it takes to recover will neither make the game easier or less fun.

obviously, these castlevania games aren't like that, castlevania wasn't made to be "horror, make you pee your pants" besides, i don't think a sidescroller game would go well with that music, perhaps a 3d castlevania... but i believe the music they have for all the sidescrollers fit them well

yes but from the trailers it seems more refined i hope you dont need to get 9 gliphs for full power (like in DoS) that the thing that annoy me most in DoS
