@untilyunsureho If you've read the manga you'll understand that part.. She wanted haruna and Yoh to fight over the blanket thus breaking their relationship apart. Their was supposed to be a candy/chocolate also for them to fight over but they shared it as well.

@JellyRaee I agree--I thought she was nice and cute in the manga, but in here it's complete melodrama and she does a lot of anime stuff that just doesn't work in live action. I generally think the stuff reserved for chibis is ridiculous in anime lol, but it's so much worse in live action (for example--her just randomly talking off to the side about Asami a couple parts back). Fumiya was also made too goofy. Yoh is absolutely perfect and so is Asa, though they made her dumber...

@LazuliTala Omg. My exact thoughts. I think that bottom line is that it really doesn't work for live action as well as it does for manga/anime. And yeah, Fumi is so... weird and eccentric. I figured he'd be more masculine. Meanwhile, Asaoka's hair is... a little strange. Only Yoh and Asami are good! Also, they crammed everything in 90 minutes so the script and scenes are awkward lots of times! They really should've just made an anime! This manga is so awesome it definitely deserves it!

@choco33333333 no she's more annoying in this version. Actually she reminds me of Nodame from Nodame Cantabile. I LOVE THE MANGA....but I hate Haruna in this version. In the manga she's so innocent, and sweet and she's straightforward and she does try so hard, but it's a pleasure to see her. Here she's just annoying. I cried so many times with tears of happiness when reading the manga but the movie is sorely lacking. I would have preferred an anime instead of sucky movie
