Pratt gave me the word.... and I carried out his orders. I had my Stick Doggs run punches and cadences.... we could not even get a drum tap from them.... pity.

It's put on by a group called Asymmetrix. They put on a good show but I have to agree with you Mel, since there is a NATIONAL competition in Indianapolis, one in California. It's still a good show.. It would be more respected if it was invitation only.. EES got third last yr, WHS got third somewhere in between 03-06.
You made 3rd place at nationals... that is good... Word on the street is you got embarrassed this weekend... There isn't a trophy out there to make up for that. By the way Einstein, this National Competition you are hollering about says ANY band can sign up and go... So, if I was Gray's Creek and I pay my fee... I qualify... Doesn't sound much like a National event to me... What the hell are you bragging about bitch?
I like the Kiesha Cole joint 2.... but some ppl.... i dont know, we are 2 complex of a BAND PROGRAM for them to comprehend. Thats why we stay winning trophies....
No one in the crowd says wow you have nice trophies.... they either say you were the Sh*t or you suck or whatever.... Perhaps that's too complex for you to understand...

Yes, your alumni.... I can think one competition in particular at the top of the state.... Judges with straight ties to your school.... Some of your alumni have lives... Others just defend anything coming from the school because they didn't become anything themselves or never left Murchison Road...
Yea, so what we have more class than most bands. A competition to us is gettin trophies. We could care less about battling. Even though we wanna have fun too... xometimes we cant. Its all up to the director, and let it be known, if it was up to him, he would exchange music all day wit any band! So dont get it twisted ppl!

Usually I just sit back and watch WHS and EES trade jabs. I think they are both good. Smith usually wins the competitions (however a couple of them they know they should not have won) but Westover seems to have the most fun and the crowds be feeling them. I was thinking about transferring to one of their academies so I can play. It was a toss up but I am leaning towards WHS because EES were acting like little bitches in Dillon.. Leave that shit in Fay. They both were the highlight in SC.
