So that's more of a "thank you kiss" because he realizes he's in love with her a couple of chapters later, not there.

Yeah I watched until chapter 477 (but the story continues with another couple, but I don't like that couple so much... so i stopped watching it). I watched all the episodes in youtube cause im from PR and its not on tv. Is a nice story, it has intrigue but is very different from the columbian version. I expected a better ending for this one. But i still like it.
