  • Absolutely wonderful.

  • bravissimi!

  • it's two bell choirs, or they use two sets of bells becuase if you look at on riger and look at the ringer directly behind them, thy are doing the same exact thing. tey sound so together tho. it's amazing

  • Amazing! Probably one of the best bell choirs I've ever seen

    Nicely done, and much respect!

  • wait...

    ther are playing with bells?!

    really??

    omgg:x:x: wonderruull:x:x i respect all people play handbell ^^

  • @Iryshyu Yay! you respect me

  • @liv4music995 OHHH!!!! you can play handbell? OMG awesooommee!!! of course i respect you <3

  • @Iryshyu It's surprisingly not too difficult- here comes the lecture...

Everyone has 1-3 bells sometimes more and you read music XD It can get hard like my music in we wish you a merry christmas, anyone who has seen a bass A4 bell will know its kinda large, and I have to play a whole measure pretty fast (I just started XD)

  • i've never seen such a choir before. it's great!

  • nice)

  • My second favorite peice of Sherman's. You took it a t a very good speed. Not to fast but I know that was not the tempo in the music.

  • I'm wondering how they have enough bells for 27 people in one choir.

    We have 13 people in ours. And granted, we have one person cover G2 through A3;

and our people at the top handle both the sixes and sevens.

But even if we added 2 more people at the bottom and 4 more at the top

(the maximum number I could imagine putting in the group and still having enough bells for everyone not to get bored), even then, we'd only have 19 people.

So how do they get 27????

  • It's possible they're using more octaves than your choir, maybe? My handbell choir uses four octaves, I believe, but they could be using more.

  • Our choir goes from G2 through D8 -- about 5 1/2 octaves.

Figure out how many people you have in your 4 octave choir, then add enough people for 2 more octaves (6 octaves being the absolute largest number of bells they could have), then tell me if your numbers add up to anything close to 27 people.

I'd love to know how they break the bells down to keep 27 people busy.

  • that's cool, i bet you had fun but i also know how much hard work something nice requires. Good job and congrats

  • The choir I play in, we did this as our solo at the local handbell festival this year. And of course it's a lot of fun to play. But the great thing about YouTube is that this gives me the chance to sit back and listen to someone else play it -- what fun!

  • oh, the work!!! what synchronization!!! Great !

    Loved it!

  • I wonder how they can do the tune cuz the single bell can NOT change its tone whenever you like.

  • What do you mean? You don't understand how they can play music? Each bell is assigned a single note like D, C sharp, E flat, etc. and each person has two to four bells (or more depending on the size.) Or do you mean that they can't tune like brass or wind instruments? No, they can not. But it doesn't matter because they don't change much in tone. However, you won't see a Malmark and Schulmerich bell being played together because they aren't matched to each other.

  • Errrk!

    Please make it stop!!!

  • nice)

  • diese japsen!^^

  • LARGEST handbell choir I have ever seen perform this piece!
