  • THERE HE WAS - READY TO BECOME A BIG STAR AND CHANGE A 'SQUILLION' YOUNG LIVES - INCLUDING MY OWN ! !

  • In 1970, I was hitching back to Oban from the Isle of Wight festival when I cam across a tomtom player in Crianlarich! We sat in the pub with me on guitar and him on tomtoms and we went through all the Tyranosaurus Rex Catalogue that we knew! Even some that we didn't! Those really were the days!

  • thank you for a rare experiance

  • amazing! rare indeed! fabulous well done for saving it! :)

  • Really nice clip. rare stuff. tanx.

  • It's my favorite creative periode of this band, I love this, thanks to share :)

  • Fascinating, looks and sounds like this was filmed on another planet!

  • Whar a treat, after all these years. Back in

'69 I was calling myself "Gorbadock Brandybuck" from "The Hobbit", and carried a steer horn like they did in Middle Earth. Sheesh, seems like 3 lifetimes ago! Beautiful sound. Now I feel like I'm on my way back there.

  • HAHAHA, what a badass comment If i was alive in 69, i'd have trekked to the ends of middle earth(Or at least our minds) and back with you Mr. Brandybuck. Ah well, perhaps in another 3 lifetimes... See you at the Green Dragon my dear Gorbadock...

  • So mystical....it really is music from another dimension!

Thanks for this wonderful vid XX

  • My bro got me my people were fair and prophets seers and sages album for my 18th. He was a full blown hippie,i been with marc ever since, you get lost in this early stuff and drift away, truly cosmic....

  • You can almost smell the incense.

  • This is my favourite from this era, somehow I imagine Stacey lives in Hobbiton.

  • Fascinating little clip

  • You should have commented this on a glam era T. Rex vid on youtube rather than here!

  • Steve Took adds some good back-up singing and other sounds on this and other early songs. However, he could not handle his drugs. He let it get the better of him and he was let go.

  • i wanna call my house Stacy Grove but my mail man woudn't get it

  • WOW Just when you think youve seen and heard everything Bolan related a rarity like this turns up. Tanx for posting it.

  • Stacy Grove, one of the first T.Rex songs I learned to play on the guitar. Thanks for posting this rarity!

  • What are the chords?

  • I believe there are just two. depends on the key you play. Something like G and A minor or A and B minor.

  • Great to see that at least some footage of the real Tyrannosaurus Rex remains. The drummer will have been Steve Took at this time, not Mickey Finn.

  • superbe!les videos de tyrannosaurus rex sont trop rares.

  • Mickey Finn was a genious ;)

  • encore encore!
