  • I have The LP & CD.

  • Dr. Clayton Forrester disagreed with the 27 people who liked this video.

  • I have literally been searching for this song for years. I could barely remember it from my childhood. I'm so glad you uploaded it!

  • It's obviously got talent. I.E. Tim and Eric Awesome Show in which the music tips towards a bit. Such a hidden legend.

  • i think i had this video on beta, great to see it again! thanks

  • loved this album - great to see this video - thanks

  • The drive in theater is likely the one in Duarte, and the kid is filmed in Venice beach boardwalk, where they are dancing in that scene. It's not like they had to fake it! Great fun, this video, we LOOOOVE it!

  • This is soo great, thanks for posting

  • The owner of this video is censoring posts, so be careful what you say

    .

3:08 is stock footage that was aired millions of times during the 80s

    .

And not very good. The singer is standing on a city street while the kid is in the middle of a treed park. Inconsistent much?

    .

  • is that a drive-in Leon is standing in?

  • do you have any more from him. i am looking for small still voice... i still have it on vinyl its scratched.. bad.

  • THnks so much for posting these classic videos! Would u happen to have anything by Tami Gunden?

  • Man Man Man.. This is song right here is one of the earliest christian songs I can remember. This album was fire. I gotta order this. Bless God. I'll bump this right now with no shame in my game. Big ups on the post.

  • Leon Patillo's Live Experience Album was my first Gospel album and next to Amy Grant, and Petra, later Farrell & Farrell was my lead in to Christian music, though I listen many things, these have always had a spot in my heart and still listen to.

  • Absolutly fantastic message! would love to see an updated version. I posted on my facebook page. Just open your heart, to God and the message will come ALIVE!!!

  • Great song, TERRIBLE video - LOL

  • Yes, memory lane. Simple message of God trying to reach us thru Jesus Christ. What a loving God. I will say great message! Thanks Leon for trying to share this awsome message.

  • It may be a lame video, but the message is priceless. leon was cool.

  • This is one of the lamest things I've ever seen. But I still loved it back in the day. And I guess I still kinda like it now.

  • this era of christian music from Leon, Farrel & Farrell, Susan Ashton, etc. turned me from a stealing heathen into a believer

  • I saw Leon in concert back in the eighties, I can;t beleive how chessey this video is!!! Keep it real Leon

  • dude this could totally be like the next rick roll, except ill call it a leon link, lol

  • Now that brings back some memories! lol

  • Old classic...one of my faves when I was younger...tnx for the post!

  • Great ol Song !! Though.... I kinda of Dig the heart out fit... God Bless Leon

  • Man...it's been 25 years since I've seen this video. And I thought his "heart" outfit looked dorky back in the 80s!!!

  • Are you kidding? This is CLASSIC 80'S cheese- I love it! Love you Leon!

  • I love the song, but the vid is pretty terrible!

  • LOL! Yeah it was snagged off TV with a VCR and probably at lowest quality. (6 hours) Who knew THEN (years ago!) what it would/could be used for today?

  • Leon Patillo was ahead of his time!

  • the guy with the shorts starting at 2:49 is hott! LOL. I love to watch him dance.

  • LOVE this song! Awesome lyrics!

  • Never have an aerobics instructor choreograph your video.

  • Yes!

  • I saw Patillo 4/14/82 in Texas, it was the day after I was saved. Yeah, this is really hokey looking now, but in 82 it wasn't. Time cannot take away the good Leon Patillo has done...innovative, sincere and joyful - he spread the gospel in a way the world really needed it-and still does! Thanks, Leon!!

  • I'm so excited to see this again! We lost the video in a move a few years ago. It looks pretty "campy" now but at the time I loved seeing Christians having fun and dancing and having music that I liked. Thanks for sharing.

  • had the cassette, always wondered what the video would look like..Lose the headband..

  • My dad has the LP. I heard that once about a year ago...and that is definitely one of the more "interesting" songs on that particular release.

  • Life is What You Make It was my favorite song off this album... I was only bout 5 or 6 when this came out, lol

  • SO fun to see this again. Thanks a lot for putting this up. We lost our VHS of it 15 years ago!

  • Oh, do i remember this! Back then, I thought he was so strange, and many of my family members thought his music was not religious at all. I still love it!!! Thanks for posting.

  • My dad has several of his first few Christian releases. Let's just say this one threw me the first couple of times I heard it.
