  • r.i.p planet earth

  • Same technology Toyota and Honda has been using. Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence but Toyota and Yamaha perfected it in their UR series motors lol. this is nothing new to the Japanese made cars.

  • @downonit22 nissan gtr uses technology licensed from Ford

  • What a shame, a 40k dollar "street machine" and a 17 year old (me) went out and walked one in my 78 Monte with a 355. And I only have a little more than 15 grand in my car.

  • произведение искуства.....

  • i shit on this vehicle

  • @pbguy357 lol no you don't bitch keep dreaming

  • lol @ only 1 tire spinning

  • Wow this is new technology right? My 1991 NSX had variable Intake & Exhaust timing technology 21 yrs ago & that was the show case of Honda's F1 racing Program & BMW in a year later in 92 apply that technology on the V12 Mclaren F1 Basically 2 NSX motors end to end. Today in the 2010's era, dual variable timing is nothing new in imports car world, unless it's on a domestics car, then the domestics make some big deal of bragging.

  • @SANYUR Because your little nsx DOES NOT MAKE 400HP.... It has never been done on a production muscle cars before and it cranks alot of horse power and torque. Something to be proud and brag about :p

  • @SANYUR When you put dual VVT on a 5.0 v8 engine it is a big deal. No one reallys cares if someones 2.0 or 1.8 or whateverthefuck toyota or honda has dual VVT becuase when all is said and done it is still a 4 cylinder and still slow as shit.

  • You sound like a DODGE GUY.

  • @SANYUR Me? Ive owned 7 cars in my life so far, of which consisted of Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Audi and even a friggin Saab (which was an awesome car btw) I have never owned a dodge in my life and never will. Oh wait, my bad, some guy gave me a dodge neon that he needed off his property because he was selling his house and needed it gone. I used my chevy that i had at the time to drag it to my house and the junkyard picked it up the next day and gave me 175 dollars for it...

  • Because DODGE GUY's brag & talk shit. That's what I was getting at.

  • @SaGalv i beg to differ, ive first hand been in a honda civic that flat out,out ran a z28 camaro, and it saved gas doing it(granted there were several thousand dollars in the engine but still it was a four banger)

  • @jjtamt722 Put several thousand dollars under the hood a Dodge Caravan and I promise I could make that piss all over a z28. The point is, what you are saying is possible with any production car out there. But look at it this way, you can buy a lame ass civic and spend thousands to make it what the z28 already is. Or you can start off with the z28 or other muscle car...and THEN drop thounsands under the hood. Besides Id rather been seen in the Camaro then a Civic anyways..

  • soooo Vtec has been around since the 80s and ford are coming out with this now??

  • @lilcow418 Learn about Ti-vct, then talk, cause you obviously don't have a clue.

  • @man36021 so all it does is advance and retard the timing honda have been doing that for nearly 10 years and vtec has been around since the mid 80s......

  • @lilcow418 Alright, i'll give you the whole damn story. Ti-vct means twin independant variable cam timing, this means that each and every valve is moved independantly at a varying time, based on engine conditions (the twin part refers to the two overhead cams), unlike v-tech, this doesn't need to be at a certain rpm to actually work, and each and every valve is timed, unlike v-tech which has a varying time for a set of valves. It's that simple bro.

  • @man36021 Actually Twin variable cam doesn't adjust the valve timing for the valves individually, but it does adjust the timing of the intake and exhuast cams. For instince when the intake cam adjusts, every single intake valve adjusts the same amount, and the same time. And V-tec does not adjust cam timing, it engages a different and more aggressive cam lobe profile at a certain rpm so the valves open farther. Kind of like having an aftermarket cam in a car you can turn on and off.

  • @SaGalv Yeah, so I've heard. Both have thier advantages, and dissadvantages, but my main point was that Ti-vct is quite different than v-tec, so please, forgive my mistake, someone els had to telll me about it, and now I know the correct functions, thanks for your input though.

  • 6 speed? that MT82 is a P.O.S. lol.

  • @need2speed94 your kidding right i hear nothing but praise about the tranny i heard its a getrag.

  • @MIGHTYSAMINYOURFACE yes its a getrag and ive heard nothing but recalls and problems. And that's from people with bone stock cars and very low mileage. I've heard about them having linkage problems, issues with the slave cylinder/clutch/flywheel... and I'm sure I'm missing something. This wasn't a small little recall that all auto manufacturers go through, there was actually an official investigation lol. What a piece.

  • @need2speed94 whao dude your right who would have thought, man i remember that getrag made some badass transmissions for the toyota supras back in the days sorry i just cant believe the bad luck ford has.

  • @MIGHTYSAMINYOURFACE I don't understand... they had a Perfectly fine tremec transmission in the 03-04 cobra's... you think they would've kept it since it performed so well and has such a good reputation. I can't believe they used a chinese transmission in the mustang that really was a 'big step' for them. I *think they chose the cheap tranny to keep costs down since '11 was a completely new motor. I also can't believe they used the very same crap tranny in the Boss 302.. huge disappointment.

  • Return of a legend? Lol since when does a 225hp *V8* get the title 'legend'? If that's the case then GM deserves a couple nobel prizes hah wow.

  • @need2speed94

You're not a foxbody fan, are you? And well the announcer means that the "legend" is the 302 that this Mustang has. It wasn't just on the foxbody. Ever heard of the Boss 302? Besides, 225 hp in the 80's seemed a lot. And even though its not much, driving one is an absolute pleasure because its so light, you forget that it has so little hp...

  • @MrDead67 Yea the Boss 302 block is a whole different story, those are much better. And I think foxbody's have a KILLER look, but every fast foxbody I see has a swapped short block because the 302's in those are horrible! Maybe not back in the 80s compared to a 3rd gen GM f body but they are outdated now. And as for the whole driving experience thing, its the torque that you feel not the V6 like HP lol.

  • Did anyone else feel that after the 5.0 came out, the body frame of the Mustang became even better looking, although its the same. I don't know. I think that 5.0 badge has a lot to do with it....

  • @MrDead67 think of it like this. the pre 2011 mustang was like a body builder who carried around a lap dog. after realizing that he was getting made fun of all the time, he broke the little shits neck and got himself a pit bull. now the neighbours are scared! lol

  • nice enginee... good to see america is getting over pushrods, and getting proper DOHC's with VVT... this engine should have has direct inject, but that's a huge leap from no vvt to vvt and direct injection... the next ford engine will be out of this world

  • @blahblop123 Dude, they had vvt's before, they just weren't as advanced....

  • @man36021 i meant using them in their performance cars... all use pushrods apart from the ford gt, and recent mustangs... and now vvt... they only used it back then for efficiency and emission purposes for the lower range and city cars.. for their inline 4's and v6's

  • @blahblop123 Pushrods use vvt's too bro, that technology is controlled by the ecu, and performed through the cams, so they use it, it just didn't add a ton of power, but it did make the car more efficient, like you said. (I guess you get it, i'm just clearifying.)

  • What's the name of the song?

  • not impressive, if you pay attention its only burnin the right tire on the burn out. all that money spent and they cant give you a true posi rear end, lame if you ask me. fords are like assholes almost everyones got one and they all stink.

  • Mustang FTW!!!!

  • Sweet looking car but I don't think it will keep up with it's main competitors the 6.0l Camaro and the 6.4l challenger...

  • @DeathCoreGamer Well, it actually outruns both.

  • @marriedncute Woah if this is true I am impressed. Is there any chance you could provide proof?

  • @DeathCoreGamer Yeah, copy and paste this into the youtube browser: Pony Car Wars! 2011 Ford Mustang GT vs Camaro SS and Challenger SRT8

  • @marriedncute Thanks for that.

  • Why flag @errenthovesep 's comment? It made a really good point.

  • Nice

  • After watching this video. I'm on my way to rob a bank to buy one. Whose with me

  • lol Global warming!? fuck that shes built to glide! just listen to that fucking beautiful roar! shits gonna make your gf wet like the fucking ocean!i must have this car...

  • while rest of the car industry is making more enviormental cars, Ford brings back the 5litere.

  • Damn I wish I'd own a mustang one :)

too bad here the most simple (just a mustang) costs more than 100,000$...

  • I had this technology on my Civic in 1998... As an American I can say we actually suck at building cars.

  • i think the new mustang finally start build a good engine now. basically they just perfected some part like oil jet is very important to keep the engine reliability for long term use and for rough driving daily. with some aluminum to the engine for weight reduction also increase performance and handling. theres more they can do to make it better but they are getting there

  • Variable Cam timing? It's just another name for VVT, which has been around since a long time ago. I don't think it's any new tech. Most of the nowadays cars have it. If you listen to what narrator says carefully, it's nothing but fancy words to describe normal things in the engine. lol. And because it has torque, it has low horsepower considering it's 5.0. Low revving engine is what american likes to make. And simply physic and math, If you make that engine to have 500hp, torque will be lowered.

  • VCT. Variable Cam Timing! Whoa this must me some kind of future technology from an alien race. AWSOME !

  • Ours Dream Car!!!!

  • you may never have to out run the police..... but it's nice to know you can.

  • @racoonpooon ahaha. in america you have this: "you can outrun the cops, but you sure as hell cant outrun the radio." in europe the cops are pussys and usually have a no pursuit thing

  • @paladain55 A lot of U.S. cities have a no pursuit policy now because there's too much risk to civilians in a high-speed chase.

  • @mustang6172

Someone said to me that you've got like 3 mins to outrun the cops in the US. After that you won't be able to outrun them cause a chopper will be following you.

  • there must be 16 salty camaro owners

  • To the comment about wasted fuel and speed limits? Who cares! We all love to accelerate and have throttle response. Besides it puts out incredible gas mileage compared to the other muscle cars not to mention the best HP to weight ratio of the 3. (8.8 lbs per hp) And it is NOT the coyote motor as popularly listed by fans. The old coyote motor was technically a 4.9L rounded to a 5.0 (at 4942.22cc). The new 5.0L motor is a true 5.0L by the same principal of rounding numbers (at 4952.07cc).

  • It really bothers me that that Mustang is CG

  • @FORDboy357 this video was done before the design was finalized. There wasn't one built and tested enough to be driven like that yet.

  • @bluestang2010 Ford has mules 2 or 3 years before the final product comes out. The 2010 has basically the same chassis, and they've had the Coyote in the works for getting close to 10 years now. They could've thrown something together easily.

  • Wow this is awesome.. Rather than have to hear crap from dodge and Chevy lovers.. The Germans and Italians are pissed off now..

Can you fellas even afford a BMW or a benz.? Or even the petrol for one..Keep riding the train and bus.. How about that lambo and Farrari.. How many of you mouthy little fuckers ever even seen one?

  • Hope the new new mustang looks like the 70's one, not that lame Guilango or whatever one that is going around. Please make it look AMERICAN!!!

  • @joshuatree1001 Why would you want it to look like a Mustang II?

  • You mean a symphony of high compression? Get 562 horses out of a 4.5 liter like Ferrari has then you'll get your wank sucked, until then quiet down about the doggie motor. It's got some good heads, ooo-aaaa big deal.

  • best bang for buck, this beats the camaro and challenger

  • I don't think you can get those wheels in dark grey.

  • 15 dodgeboys disliked it

  • fucking love it

  • @TipikulBob

    -.-

    @Veeki

Maybe not the m3 gt... but the m3 gt isnt the best bmw 3 u can get :) check the hartge h50 twinturbo (m3 with m5 V10 engine) bout 800+ hp o/

and dont get me wrong, a mustang is a beautiful car, but on a track with small corners it has no chance, like on the Nürburgring...

The BMW masters load changes easily... the Mustang is not bad, BMW is even better.

And dont tell me bout highspeed track tests, theyre boring and not interresting...

  • I'm so exited with 412hp... imagine a Lambo Aventador with 700hp! lol

  • @yoalien Torque is more fun and i bet the mustang has more than that lambo.

  • @cubano1389 Also, no, your modular four valve Mustang isn't going to develop more horsepower than a four-valve v10 or v12 engine out of a Lamborghini/Ferrari/Porsche. You're comparing Mule shit to Cocaine buddy, calm down and float back to earth.

  • @cubano1389

    BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

what american media are you reading

maby a lambo tractor form the 40's

  • Pack Your Lunch It Is Going To Be A long Day At The Track This Car Is Made To Kisck Ass And Take Names..... How Much Is Your M3 There Take That Money You save When You Buy The Mustang And Get It Blown Catch It Now BMW Cock Sucker.....

  • The 1st modern-kind of muscle cars that I really so freaking WANTS to have it right now :D

  • this car is bad ass specaily on GTA 4 car mods u can just have the gas all open an do donuts an burnout with none stop till the tire blows :o i have it for grand theft auto 4

  • dam dude that tire is a tornado! 0:41

  • it really made me think about engine technology ,,anyone?

  • Comment removed

  • how can you not like this i almost jizzed my pants at this :O

  • lawl, so take a BMW, ti´ll be much more fun.(more comfort, quality, fking beautiful handling \o/ )

On every track test u will laugh while dangeling ur balls waiting @ finish for the Mustang :P

But the mustang is a cool car for cruising or straight lines :D

Mustang is cheaper, but its not then engine what makes u pay for a BMW,...

PS: Mercedes sucks its for OLD ppl!!! (excluding carlsson Mercedes)

  • @U2Bstinkt Really? Is that why the stock GT is less than a second behind the M3 at Willow Springs? It doesn't turn? LOL!

The Boss302 KILLS the M3 in handling and braking. And it is $20k cheaper. Ahh, all that engineering. I would take a Boss over the M3 any day.

  • @U2Bstinkt I think you quite retarded bro! BMW is no match to a mustang, BMW got the same boring styling. About finish line, I don't think a BMW M3 GT can do what a The boss 302 can! Get urself updated son ;)

  • @U2Bstinkt You, sir, are FUCKED IN THE HEAD.

  • Is it one wheel wondering at ~41 seconds? LOL how mustang like..

  • @mhansen146 guess ur too stupid to take a gander over to the other tire an see it spinning

  • The 2011 SHO Taurus spanked this off the line

  • @loungerodder ur high and outa ur mind

  • what song is this?

  • 14 people know nothing about cars.

  • I came at half the video, ford make sexy rides

  • Seems like ''Need For Speed: Mustang Edition'' opening

  • THIS IS WHAT I CALL MANS RIDE

  • Well... At least the new stang doesn't use the clunky crappy pushrods like the Camaro does which is smart on Ford's part and it doesn't weigh over 4000lbs like the Challenger.

  • 2urbo2 where r u videos of ur car, y dont u look at my mustang and u better believe its as fast as it sounds, a v12 wouldnt have a prayer in a race

  • Is that a one wheel burnout @ 42 seconds. . .

  • so whats the msrp of that mercedes oh yeah 100,000ish oh yeah thats way better than a fully loaded gt500 which is 40.000 less

  • @rynobietzark1 Yup. Mercedes looks like a dream and drives like one, and has great comfort. What has the mustang? Big engine, stiff axle and panhard.... Bad cross bread. And, to make it bad, it is made of melted action men, and is riggid like a paper box since it utilices frame and beams under the body.. Atleast it has mcpherson in front, but i think that wont help.

  • @2URBO2 The mustang is not body on frame construction and never has been. What the hell are you talking about? As an owner of an E55 AMG and a 2011 Mustang GT, watching idiots defend German cars for being 'so perfect' is absolutely repulsive yet hilarious.

  • @roybotnik "blabla blalba bla" Mustang has always been body on frame. Typical american genious. Merc will be better, fuck americans!

  • @2URBO2 fuck americans, why? germans are gay? lollllllllllllllllllll =)) hey sucker, lamborghini, TVR, etc are examples of body on frames! Mustang are made of monocoque chassis because they are mass produced sport cars. you such a dickhead i pity you!

  • @2URBO2 Dude, u just got fucked up... you're just commenting here, looking like a dumbass, when so many people tell you that merc is shit against mustang.. and i agree with them..first of all, is the price-power-MPG ratio..which mustang's is way better than merc's... and yeah..german cars have something pure that muscle cars dont have..still muscle has something that german's don't have..but the big difference between these 2 "armies", is that we give u good arguments and u just find excuses!

  • @alabalabanana I got fucked up? Yes, maybe i have bad arguments, and i am willingly to find better ones, as long as you can admit the possibility that Mercedes is better than ford. Atleast Mercedes has been making cars longer.

  • @2URBO2 well that's what u don't understand..we will not admit that mercedes is better..i told u..it's all about the price..if the mustang would cost as much as the mercedes, it would be a monster under the hood...and in my opinion, history is useless as long as we got present, and obviously better cars..And BTW i saw a race between a corvette and a mercedes on your channel..corvette won..i'm telling u, if i would be you, i would delete my comments and leave..no offence...

  • @alabalabanana Well, have you considered that american cars are cheap? And maybe shitty? Like this "new" technology from ford, which has been with Mercedes for some years, obviously you cant seem to understand the cost of a GOOD car vs a shitty one.

  • well their not as "Cheap" as u think u are...the only cheap thing is the price...but just because it doesn't have 500 types of wood and climate air in your balls to feel good or other almost useless stuff, it's not cheap..some aluminium and some leather is enough..what you're gonna go to a club a say to a chick " hey u know that my car has incorporate dildo so u could Blah Blah Blah..." NO! u gonna smoke someone at the red light and she's yours.. and by the way i never said mercedes is not good!

  • @alabalabanana Incorporate dildo.......... This conversation is over.

  • @2URBO2 well that's it! it got so many stuff that could be useful at home, not in a car! and they forget about the pure stuff..for the price of a Mercedes, you could increase it's power, instead of making a living room in it...I just find all of that useless...seriously, what is the purpose of wood in a car??? that's just money spent on nothing! That's wrong at most expensive cars.. you pay for useless stuff and for the fact that it's name it's so "big"!

  • @alabalabanana Same shit about engines, why would you need a big engine? Speed limits. But hey, all americans have big engines, wasted fuel!

  • @2URBO2 If you don't like mustangs don't watch videos on them and try to support a different car, you'll look like an idiot, and a hypocrite.

  • @man36021 "new way to think about engines...." No, not at all. DOCH V8's with all that "new" tech has been here some years, both from USA and other countries. So ford, please, stop whining about your latest tech, when it aint new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im not a hypocrite, im a realist!

  • @2URBO2 They're not talking about a v8 being the new tech, they're talking about the twin independant variable cam engine, no one els has that. Also you are a hypocrite, because you say you hate the mustang and yet you still watch videos on them, that shows you have interest. And your not a realist, your an idiot if you really though they were talking about a DOHC v8 engine.

  • @man36021 "the M272 include DOHC aluminum cylinder heads, 4 valves per cylinder and independent continuously variable valve timing on both the intake and exhaust sides"

    Thats a Merc V8 engine from 2006.

  • @2URBO2 ti-vct means twin independant variable cam timing engine, not independant continuously variable valve timing, in a ti-vct engine the cam shaft can be rotated slightly relative to thier original position alowing for peresise opening and closing times of the exhaust, and intake valves. The timing relates to the camshaft not the valves, you should learn more about this car before before you make a real fool of yourself.

  • @man36021 Then i misread it. Im sorry. But does it really make such a difference overall? A mustang is a Mustang, cheap in usa, and expensive in europe, which means we drive other cars, which will do atleast as good. A good comparison to the mustang 5.0 would be the Mercedes C63 AMG coupe, which has plenty more horses, and is the most powerful production n/a V8 in the world, and it has 7 gears.

  • @2URBO2 I never said mercedes was bad, I was just giving you the correct info on the mustang, and I tried to prove that nobody els has what ford made, and yes, I think a comparison between the C63 amg coupe, and a ford mustang gt would be interesting, the mustang would probably lose, but I'd like to see if it comes close.

  • @man36021 I said i was sorry about it, and i never ment to insinuate that you were uncomfortable with M-B.

    Interesting, yes.

Ever sat in a V8 Mercedes? I have, a lovely experience which nothing can be compared with.

  • @2URBO2 I know, and yes I have been in a mercedes, but I forgot what model it was, (It probably wasn't anything special). And have you ever been in a mustang? It's a lot of fun on the highway and it handles great.

  • @man36021 Aha... Well, take a trip to the Mercedes dealer and take a ride in a good one.

My uncle is a amcar fan, and i have been in some, and it feels cheap and powerful, which i think is not a good combo.

  • @2URBO2 I never really thought of mercedes being any different from other sports cars, also I have a 08 mustang gt, and personally I think it can compete with the more expensive european sports cars.

  • @man36021 Well well, go look at the Mercedes museum, and you will learn a thing or two. mustang gt is a joke. Stiff axle and leaf spring, it handles like a box on wheels, atleast get a proper coil kit from roush, and maybe a saleen styling kit, atleast then it wouldnt be shitty!

  • @2URBO2 like I said before, I have an 08 mustang gt, it's been on uneven highways, and curvy mountain roads, and it handles great on both of them, mercedes is more of a luxury brand of cars, it's made to ride as smoothly as possible, mustangs aren't made in the same manor because it's not made for luxury, it was made to be a muscle car.

  • @man36021 Well well, the american man closes his eyes for the truth.

  • @2URBO2 What do you mean?

  • @2URBO2 the roush "proper coil kit" as you call it makes the car even stiffer... which is what you want on a muscle car. We don't buy these cars for luxury, we buy them for fun and performance. Maybe as a retirement present I'll buy me something more luxurious like a lambo, till then, it's about fun.

  • @man36021 ya um DOHC v8s are new tech? tell that to my bros old ass northstar caddy

  • @fuuhcoff No that's not new tech. Do I really need to tell you that?

  • @man36021 DUH! my comment was sarcasm !! hence the statement about the northstar thats been around FOREVER!!! dont take it the wrong way, Id still buy the new 5.0 regardless of the tech involved, and hope it lives up to its legendary pushrod counterpart!!! , But im too poor to worry bout that any time soon...

  • @fuuhcoff I wasn't talking about the DOHC, I was talking about the Ti-VCT, no matter though, I bet you'l be able to get a mustang sooner or later in your life, just don't doubt it.

  • @2URBO2 lol you so funny man...you suck!! seems you know nothing about mustang. It got same/better luxury as a merc.

  • f*%k that buy american so we can get the economy going again mercedes my ass

  • Comment removed

  • The GT is now a better choice for speed than the GT500. That is, until the 650'ish bhp 2013 GT500 is released. Still, for now if I could have a 2011 GT or GT500, I'd have the GT. Way to go Ford!

  • Am I the only one that feels like the car itself is a 3D render? The smoke definitely looks CGI.

  • i out ran an AMG with my mustang, there are slow

  • @whats243 Oh, and suddenly you know AMG because you raced one? HAHAHAHA, try again, and please let it be a V12!!

  • @2URBO2 Hmmm, How much does your Mercedes cost? Yeah, yeah.. And when it breaks down how much does it cost to fix it? Yeah, yeah.. Getting a mustang for 30K and then using all that extra money saved you can increase performance, do just about any add on you want. Get it to where it will out race a Mercedes on the track, and still cost less. Yeah, Your car may still be more sophisticated, but that is about as important as driving a Yugo for the Economy of it.

  • does anybody know the music in the background??

  • @daniel12216 Yes. The music was something I did specifically for this project.

  • @13Sdg i really like your music^^ maybe you can give me the music?? ;)

  • @daniel12216 I think i'd have to get permission, but I'll poke around. I'm new to this YouTube profile. What's the easiest way to send you something?

  • @13Sdg Okay. The best way to send me something is with a mail. ^^ ;)

  • Finally the return of 5.0 and we all know what that means. The B.O.S.S. IS BACK

  • the car has a limited slip diff, if u floor it both wheels will spin, but if you hot brake it like they did only the right tire will spin

  • one wheeler pealer whats up with that?

  • fukin beats

  • ONLY ON THING TO SAY,THE BEST NEVER REST.........THANK GOD FOR FORD CARS AND TRUCKS.....

  • @smokyccrazz And besides, this car is totally useless.... Let me guess, stiff axle with panhard? How the hell can you use that amount of horses when the back is loose? I'll rest when rousch is buying ford and makes real sports cars, instead of the garbage ford makes.

  • @2URBO2 You spelled "Roush" wrong, genius. Because Roush has the revenue to buy out a multi-billion dollar company like Ford Motor Company with 650 million in equity and nearly 170 BILLION in revenue. Yeah, glad you're not my financial advisor. Troll.

  • @smokyccrazz Lol piston cooling and vct has been in japanese cars for over 20 years, its not something "new"

  • I googled Ferrari Enzo and ended up at this video.

  • this was almost as bad as the new shitty scion tc commercial, and i like how they hipe up the 412hp. i guarantee you it doesnt make close to that at the wheels. maybe like 360hp at the most and for the price tag you can get something way nicer. and running low 13's in a 1/4 mile isnt that fast, my 4 banger did that when it was stock!

  • @cammedevo8

You sir, are a moron. ALL car HP ratings are done at the flywheel. Most are putting down 370-380 to the wheels.

What would you buy for $29k?

  • @guitarhurricane99 your the moron. i was simply stating the fact that car companies hype up cars to much and they need to put out the results of a dyno at the wheels and not at the crank so i dont have to listen to people walk around and talk about how bad ass there car is when really all they are going off of what the brochure said, because some dumb ass has probably got his car dynoed and saw how much hp it was making and was wondering why it was bellow 400 hp. for $29k i would by another evo

  • @cammedevo8 i see your point. but the fact of the matter is that this mustang out performs its competitors (fellow muscle cars) no matter what the dyno says.

  • @cammedevo8 new evo are not 29k

  • i know im cool, my slowest mustang out runs mercedes

then can you tell what new car i can get right now that will out do the mustang for as much as the mustang?

  • "new way to think about engines..." Well maybe for ford, the rest of us here in europe has been riding twin cam engines with individual coils, direct injection and cam adjusters for some years. And, not to mention that this engine doesnt even have DIRECT injection. Pussyboy engine.

  • @2URBO2 I know right. People think the DOHC VCT is new technology. VVT (variable valve timing) is way more reliable and just as efficient and powerful. This is just ford's rendition of VVT. Nothing new here. Hell, even GM had the NorthStar V8 DOHC VVT 4.6 that put out over 320hp in the early nineties developed from the ZR1 LT5 DOHC 5.7 and always on ward's best engines list. This technology has been around for decades. 5.0 is good but the VCT 5.4 is give'n ford a hell of alot of trouble.

  • @BEBNC1 Good points! ^^ Ford aint thinking!
