@goldenboyNJ actually no and no. i've seen plenty of affects from hits the same as that with no call off. i've seen people fall straight on their back and get back up and continue a fight in professional sports. if he could not get back to his feet or was bleeding profusely then it would be called off.
T.K.O is called for when a fighter cannot continue as well as he was prior to being struck.
