Girl Talk ALWAYS invites fans on stage during a performance. The only damage ever incurred is to his own laptop. I'm all for letting people do their jobs, but M83 should be allowed to invite people on stage if they want. If the venue had a problem, it should have been discussed beforehand.
bands like this are idiots. yeah, invite your fans up untiil one who has had too much to drunk falls over and damages a $4000 piece of equipment. then i'm sure we'd hear this guy blaming security for it. there's a reason the stage is there, and it's not for the crowd.
Have you ever been to a concert before? If you had been you'd know that security usually acts like assholes to everyone. Make sure no one has a gun; after that move the fuck off!
I work at a music venue, so I probably have been to more concerts then anyone who has posted on here combined. Some security are assholes, yeah, but so are some fans, band members, promoters, cashiers, lawyers, grandmothers, etc. don't lump them all together. this guy was just doing his job; no one knows what was said between the two. maybe he asked him to get off and the guy wouldn't listen. go to ANY music venue, no one lets people on stage.
what does the band have to do with anything? just because the band wants to be idiots doesn't mean the venue has to let them and risk a civil suit if someone gets hurt or something getting damaged.
you mean controlling people in the venue that they own and operate and are letting the band use? if they don't want to be "controlled" they should go play in a field.
You know what, I felt security was heavy handed. You take people out back NOT push them off the front of the stage!!! I do not condone violence, but Anthony saw something that he felt was too heavy handed and reacted with adrenaline in his veins. We don't know if he was told why they couldn't come up, so that would have been the mistake as it was not built for lots of people. I can't help it though, it was a FANTASTIC gig and this was just rock and roll man:-)
BREAKING NEWS!!! I got pulled over by the COPS, handcuffed & put in the back of the car. All the while, my kids & me were calling on the name of YAHWEH, and the angels and archangels to protect me and deliver me from the hands of the enemy. 5 minutes later they let me go, no ticket no nothing! Their attitudes were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!! Can't nobody tell me nothing! YAH REIGN!!
the reason fans were not allowed on the stage is that it's a temporary structure that isn't meant to hold the weight of the entire crowd. people were asked to get off for safety reasons, as previous attempts at having fans dance on it caused the stage to bow dangerously.
I was at this show near the middle-front. Unfortunately the first people on stage was a mob of gay fanboys that were acting completely obnoxious and falling all over another. I was glad security kicked them out. I think its cool they invited everyone on stage but the group that went up first were retarded. The security guards were a bunch of cock suckers and im glad Gonzalez beat their ass. But the gay fanboys were annoying.
In defense of the "gay fanboys"... The combination of drugs, alcohol, loud music, a sea of equipment and people, being pushed by security guards, and utter chaos doesn't usually result in people staying on their feet.
I don't think getting onstage and having fun makes me and the other people who did it "gay fanboys." sorry it upset you so much. Maybe you should stay home next time and just listen to the record.
I got onstage and got to dance between Morgan and Anthony, I'll never forget it. Thank you for filming this because I started filming 2 seconds after he punched the guard.
I danced with Anthony for quite some time before the security guard nearly ripped my arm off!! And he wouldn't even let me get my purse from off the stage. So much credit to m83 for protecting the fans.

The description says the band invited the crowd to the stage for the final song so wtf are you talking about?

And your point is what? This is the equivalent of security and cops chasing skateboarders away. A bunch of douche bags trying to control people.

The venue they're letting the band use? Well, what giving people they are.

God I wish the booking agent that is getting shows at Wex would break his/her ties already.
That place fucking blows.
Detroit/Cincy venues and crowds are worth the drive.

where's the chaos?
all i see are a bunch of pussies. a dude gets pushed off stage and that is chaos.
whoever labeled this as "chaos" leads a very sheltered life.

Sounds like a mix of Colours and something else... not sure either. Maybe something older?
