Irish people voted this into politics & Government - well actually I didn't - but sur anyways is he saying that the people of ireland are to blame for child abuse -
@yam500 If you think your intelligent your suffering from dilusions of grandure. If you were an intelligent person you wouldn't be simply malignant in your comments. You actually make me laugh.
@yam500 I'll need to remind you that plenty of Catholic Irish gave their lives in the American civil war. After being used as cannon fodder in the Somme during WW1, Irish were more interested in our own freedom from the British. You haven't gotten a single thing right! Your knowledge is scarce at best.
@yam500 Your information is 100% wrong. Again your stating personal opinion without information backing it up. I can see you have a few fans on your page. You seem intent on giving people abuse. Being a yank you're in no position to criticise other nations drinking culture, religion or politics. You're a joke.
@yam500 Give me some reasons as to why. So far you've just gave a personal opinion with nothing to back it up. I look forward to reading your next in depth comment.
@donnyab The last general election was pre recession times. You can't blame any government for that. You can be captain hindsight and pointout what they should have done if you like, but you can't brand an entire nation as idotic because of it.
ok, first off I am not an economist but I seen this coming back in 2001, I bought a new house back then and I knew I was paying at least £70,000 over the odds, I also remember talking to people back in 2003 and saying who the hell are they building all of these houses for, my nephew (who works in a bookies!) also ran up nearly Euros 20,000 in debt on his CC...and then started to whine how was he ever going to pay it off...recessions do not happen in a year or two but over a long time
dunno if you realise it but politicians are a product of the nation, if these are the best we have god help us, this party should be decimated in the next election never to be heard of again but they won't be, they will be re-elected
@donnyab I'm not defending the banks or the government. I agree with you there has been mishandling of finances etc. Yes a government is the product of its people. You can't no for sure if they'll get re-elected. FF will be out next general election. But that's my personal opinion. No one can say for sure.
"Ireland's economic woes have been a hot topic at the G20 summit in Seoul after market jitters about a possible debt default pushed yields on Irish 10-year bonds up beyond 9%".....boy its starting to get hot around here.
the housing market stalled in 2001 and these asshole motherfuckers started it all off again by changing stamp duty rules, how the hell can houses go up by 15% a year (year after year !!!) HELFUCKINGLLO!!!, so you didn't read newspaper articles back in 2004 when the ECB/German banks were telling the idiot banks here to stop their stupid lending, they described Ireland as the wild west of banking
And do you know who signed Michael's €75,000 thank-you cheque? Mr Brien Cowen, Minister for Finance. What was illegal around the world, was perfectly do-able in the little old leprechaun Repubic of Ireland...
Some Irish people know that the entire machinery of government was used to give Mr Woods €75,000 ectra on his pension. What they don't know, perhpas, is that the Romans, even in the 7th century, knew that legislation should never be used to benefit one man.....
Woods makes me sick. You really do get a sense of how morally bankrupt catholics like Woods and the Church are. The Chuch gets caught consealing and facilitating child rapists and what do they do; they reach a cut-price deal with the state to limit their liability.
Ethnic cleansing of the Irish people. I don't think it was our fault. The church, state and government made it all possible with the help of the Irish tax payers monies to build these institutions and trafficked children through the court systems they ran. It is time for them to face the Court of Human Rights.
@conjoly The Irish people put them in place in trust to run our country. They were misled as to what the constitution was all about, though they used the principles of it to persued the people to accept it. The church (from the pulpit) asked the people to accept the new constitution as it would be the road to peace and freedom. Unfortunately the only ones who got peace and freedom was church, state and government, not the Irish people.
i bet this silly git went to a private school, the government is to blame as they are supposed to protect their most vunarable citizens, as for the church they have betrayed God Himself ,shame on you all.
