Hey what mics are you using? Is that a nt5 on your rack, shure sm(something) on you floor and a beta57 on the snare?

@shanekerchen I'm the guy that recorded / mixed it. sm57 on snare, nt5 on the rack tom, sm27 on the floor tom, audix d6 on kick , and studio projects c4s for room mics. I used an apogee ensemble and m-audio profire 2626 for the interfaces. 4 mic pres on the ensemble were used on the kick, snare and room mics. the profire 2626 was used on the toms. I recorded and mixed it in logic.

@shanekerchen Yeah man, one day I just tried all my mics on drums just to experiment and see what sounded best and the nt5s sounded great! I use adat light pipe/toslink to connect the profire 2626 to the ensemble. Its a little overkill for just a drum cover, but I was recording some demos for Eriks band Love Out Loud that day too.
