so this uses a camera to spot where your fingers are on a sheet of paper supported by glass or some other clear thing.. it seems like it performs multi touch pretty well, I guess the only thing stopping production of this is that it's too thick, like the microsoft surface

Since you have got that thing and since you really understand it quite a lot as compared to rest of the kids at your age am just saying to keep yourself motivated and keep exploring. You should also try those 1000s of free lectures from MIT , Stanford available for free online to get a proper theoretical idea.

And to "argenshnof" i have made one of those touch pads (was testing for an attempt of making the multi touch screen table (still in progress)) and i think i can help you out with the flash demo's.

1. if you haven't got flash player 9 or higher , update that.

2. if you have already done that u have to open the server command line application that should be just under config and the gateway command line, keep them open when you open a flash demo. :)
