Evidence didn't clearly state anything Elpres. They didn't even have a cause of death and no forensic evidence whatsoever. She probably did it...but it wasn't proven and thus they had to say not guilty.
Actually they did have forensic evidence. They found certain bacteria in her trunk that is only present when decomposition occurs. Now, the decomposition could have been from an animal but her lawyers did not say anything. Also, traces of chloroform were also found in the trunk. "Hair banding" was also found in the trunk but this is new forensics so the defense lawyers said its rubbish because it has never been used but everything must occur for a 1st time. There's plenty more.

She wasn't found innocent, she was found NOT GUILTY. There's a big difference. And, if you are trying to go for the death penalty then you better be damn sure that all the facts match up. 12 different ppl with 12 different opinions and ways of life thought there was not enough facts to give her the death sentence. I personally think that she DID kill her kid. But, if I was in the jury, I would have had no choice but to say not guilty because some of the evidence did not connect.

The child didn't die by any force (blunt force, stabbing, strangling). Most likely a drowning. Children disappear easily, thanks to the curiosity they have; I was one of those kids myself.
On the other hand, you argued she is guilty based on NOTHING but contempt, probably because it involves a child and a mother who is questionable in the ethics department. Have you not heard of the saying, "innocent until proven guilty"? God damn, guy, think before you act.

Evidence didn't clearly state anything Elpres. They didn't even have a cause of death and no forensic evidence whatsoever. She probably did it...but it wasn't proven and thus they had to say not guilty.

Actually they did have forensic evidence. They found certain bacteria in her trunk that is only present when decomposition occurs. Now, the decomposition could have been from an animal but her lawyers did not say anything. Also, traces of chloroform were also found in the trunk. "Hair banding" was also found in the trunk but this is new forensics so the defense lawyers said its rubbish because it has never been used but everything must occur for a 1st time. There's plenty more.

The body was not found for about 6 months. She hid the body in a bag. By 6 months time the body was decomposed until only bones remained... Duct tape also gets ruined over time with decomposition occurring. Also, her defense team, within the trial, stated Casey DID dump her child's body in the swamp and DID cover her daughter's mouth with duct tape. Before commenting, know something. You should really watch the trial before speaking.

Some of you people are just stupid. Finding someone not guilty does not always mean innocent. The jury was not comfortable without solid evidence, at least in their mind. I say they had enough, but whatever at this point.
Let's not forget that the defense also did not prove her innocent. Nobody is saying she is innocent of anything. This woman, like OJ, will walk free after murdering someone. The evidence was there. The jury chose to ignore it. Sickening, at best.
