Three main reasons:

1. Nick was terrified that people would think George's last name was "Lick-Her" (explaining the enormous "Starring George Liquor" at the beginning).

2. There's a scene at the end where Ren & Stimpy beat George with an oar, which Nick thought was too violent (though Fairly Oddparents DID get away with that).

3. The abuse Ren & Stimpy suffered was considered imitable.

How about George grabbing Ren's ass with that sick newspaper shit??? I'm a fan of this show and I thought everything about that scene was disgusting. It points to homosexuality, sexual abuse, sexual awkwardness, as well as the stereotype of homosexual tendencies in Army/Marine personnel. (which was also portrayed in the movie 'American Beauty', where the patriotic and homophobic ex-marine character turns out to be gay himself.)

I'm sure there were plenty of reasons Nickelodion didn't like this.
