@Sqirril I was there yesterday, they must have done some major improvements because it hardly lagged at all. But I remember back when Jita was a trap, the lag was so bad you could only get out straight after server down time.

I really want to play eve online .. i tried the trial but got bored of it in like 10 mins.. VERY LENGTHY explanation.. Too much to take in from the start.. And too much emphasis on trading and economics then actual space combat.

@PhantasyGod Yeah the tuts at the start drag on for too long, but once they're done (or you know the basic controls) your free to play however you like. It is possible to play without ever concerning yourself with trade and economics.

I play Eve daily and i tend to forget how beautiful it can be.

You get so involved in your daily business that you stop noticing it. Videos like this make you just stop and expirience the beauty.

Id sit and get some good clips of all the giant ships comin out of that one station and wile Im watchin this get some badas music. I wud make it but Idunno how to get those moviemaking files or whatever you would use. I wish someone else would make it. Whoever made this one almost had it, except they chose the wrong music and they never cut from one position to the next. They just stayed the same spot the hole vid. Gud video and evrything, but I think I cud've done better, if I new how.

how do you zoom in on distant ships like that?

Pottan23, Its a combination of holding both mouse buttons and dragging.

However there are 2 distinct methods.

One you start out holding down mouse 1, afterward also holding down mouse 2... and drag while holding both.

The other is first holding down mouse 2, afterward holding down mouse 1 and dragging while holding both.

It takes some practice.

Over 45000 players in game at one time on weekends, in Jita sometimes over 1000 players... I see you are not there very often :)

23000 ppl on one server but if u look how big eve is then yes, 777 ppl in one system is many.

only 777, there are around 32 000 ppl online and onblt 777 at one place is not so massive at all.
