Yes...he is a funny guy...but it took him forever to get the leaves up because he was goofing around so much...and ended up doing it with a rake. :-)

Surprisingly Irene, when he used the rake yesterday I think they got about three or four large waste bags stuffed full.....more had fallen...maybe because I went out and shook the tree? LOL ;-)

Well it turns out this one cannot be repaired...

so the job was finished today using the old rake and bagging the leaves for composting.  :-)

I've tried sucking up leaves with one of those things. If you've got very many leaves it can take FOREVER!!! I gave up and just raked them. Much faster.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I think a rake would work just as well. It's a shame to let all those pretty leaves go to waste. I suggest leaving them on the lawn until they turn brown.

I understand your sentiments about the color Robert...but it's in the 40's here...and if we wait much longer the snow will be flying and it's not too comfortable to be doing it then. Although we're supposed to have 2 or 3 days of Indian Summer weather this weekend. YAY!!!
