To me.... requiem for a dream is soooo played-out that it is synonymous with the (at the time) overplayed madness of stairway to heaven.Hoever,just as thats awesome music.... this is a particularly good slice of eye-candy and the theme... great handy work bro.... sorry i didn't tell ya sooner. 5 stars

Why didn't Sauron just mace him?

If you DID conquer the ring, you'd turn into another Dark Lord like Sauron or Morgoth/Melkor.

P.S. I think books are better but the movies gave me the lord of the rings miniatures from games workshop

As good as these three are, the books are in my opinion far bbetter. I love them both. I'd recommend the unabridged trilogy read by Rob Inglis, along with The Hobbit, which you should read first. Following that, I'd read The Silmarillion and The Children of Húrin, as well as The History of Middle-Earth.

Why does Sauron not go invisible when he wears the ring, as opposed to all others who do when they wear it?

because the ring only knows sauron as its master and sauron by himself isnt that overpowered and he putted most of his energy in the ring so thats why saron also dies when his finger is cut off the other ppl go invisible so the ringwraiths can track them down i think

He could if he wants to, but he prefer to focus the powers of the ring at controling the other rings and to booster his phisical and mental strenghts, in fact, when he was in his younger days, his race could choose between be invisible or take any form they wanted

its wierd how sauron was allpowerful but he died cause he lost a finger. (well, not really die but lost his body for a huge unmoving tower

He pours his whole self, his soul, into the One Ring. So when that is lost to him (when he lost that finger) it destroyed him. In the book, his spirit inhabits the Tower, not he himself.

2nd age: The "death" of Sauron.

3rd age: The Destruction of the Ring and the freeing of all Middle Earth.
