i can't see why kyuss has never been really famous. i mean, they sound has such and atmosphere, that it pleases SEVERAL different kinds of audience. one of the most underrated bands ever, for sure. I wish they had picked the stoner/desert scene, instead of grunge. and i agree with the fact that josh is not missing, and he was such a little bitch about regrouping with the folks that it leads me to think that he just can't make the kyuss sound come out of his guitar anymore

Josh Homme was great in KYUSS, man. I mean really great. Fucking awesome. He's no the same Josh like he was in KYUSS though, man. Yeah, the tone is not exactly like in Kyuss studio albums but Josh's presence would only make it worse. QQTSA sounds nothing like Kyuss tone, he can suck a fat one, dude.

Of course Nick and Bjork are best friends and I don't think Bjork liked Reeder at all, last time I checked, so I don't see that happening any time soon.

Well I´m a Spanish fucking bastard from Madrid a bull.......I love Kyuss like my crazy and lost life. I saw them in Madrid, we almost destroy the fucking place, hitting each other, jumping, falling to the floor, like going to dye in hell or the fucking heaven..........so the thing is I see these people in this concert like in the teather or in the cinema watching a movie with their girlfriend...........if brant and nick had been in Madrid.......the whole Madrid would have burnt down, promise.

When I knew that there will be a Kyuss reunion with no Homme I thought it was a stupid idea, but now that I think about it a little more, Josh seems to be the one member of Kyuss that is in another musical dimension these days. He's been doing QOTSA that's so different from its beginnings, EoDM, TCV. Don't know if he still is able to recreate the Kyuss magic. But Bjork, Garcia n Oliveri are pretty much the same than before. Wonder how some new music would sound, after all these years n projects

Nebula just broke up recently, they should just recruit Eddie Glass on guitar. He can definitely shred as well Josh Homme, and besides Fu manchu use to open for Kyuss. Then they could tour the world and record a new album..

@sgr927 Nah man, Nebula's a fine band but it ain't Kyuss without Josh. It's hardly Kyuss without Reeder either, who most people consider to be the definitive Kyuss bassist. My highest hope at the moment is that Oliveri rejoins QOTSA this summer (an increasing possibility) and they play some Kyuss tunes with Garcia.

@red157 Maybe, but nowadays Josh and the rest of the guys are at VERY different places, musically and financially speaking... anyway these are some of the finest musicians and/or personalities of the genre and they fulfill some of us who really missed the edge Josh, and QOTSA for that matter had in earlier days...  they are cool in their own way but they are long away from "that" particular era.
