I am an independent woman who finds the new trend in Japan disturbing. Independence is one thing but disregarding morals or two parents household for the next generation is another. I'm Japanese. British pronounciation is difficult to understand.....I introduce you, folks, recent vogue words in Japan : "grass-eating young guys" and "meat-eating young women", these words suggest sexually negative young men and positive young women. While admitting there are some exceptions, I think I can assert women are tougher in general than men mentally in contemporary Japan (from my experiences)

It's interesting though in the Canadian city I live in there is practically no such thing as a Japanese family. There are many Japanese people, but most of them are married outside of their race mostly Caucasians - not only women but men too. Very little or nothing will come of it. Biologicaly speaking it only takes one male to impregnate multiple females. Of course, some males are needed to increase or mantain population size, but the number of females in a population is more important in controling numbers of babies.

I'm a Japanese husband with 2 daughters. I used to think having boys was better, but after a few years I learn girls are much better. Moreover, women in Japan have become stronger than men. Now you have boys that act like girls, as an old fashion person, this is scary to see. TV and the pop artist have made this possible. But I think Japan will continue with it's 'male come first' culture for a long time. I was sad to see Princess Aiko will be emperor because she is a girl.

Do you have statistics for that? Of course not all people are the same -- not everyone wants the same lifestyle. That should be a personal choice.

This form of preference just creates another imbalance in society where you end with more women than men. British pronounciation is difficult to understand.....I introduce you, folks, recent vogue words in Japan : "grass-eating young guys" and "meat-eating young women", these words suggest sexually negative young men and positive young women. While admitting there are some exceptions, I think I can assert women are tougher in general than men mentally in contemporary Japan (from my experiences)

It's interesting though in the Canadian city I live in there is practically no such thing as a Japanese family. There are many Japanese people, but most of them are married outside of their race mostly Caucasians - not only women but men too. Very little or nothing will come of it. Biologicaly speaking it only takes one male to impregnate multiple females. Of course, some males are needed to increase or mantain population size, but the number of females in a population is more important in controling numbers of babies.

wow alot of anger being expressed. the problem here is that your argument is immediately proven Invalid and wrong. why? because anything outside of exact science, such as 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen ALWAYS makes H2O. Do not Carry over to a debate of this level. there is no room for an argument "always" happen. How is it that japanese men "always" rape and discriminate. why are the women on screen not "always" being raped even on camera. your logic is base, and horribly flawed.

seriously... not everyone is a damn racist in japan. So you can't let a few people represent the whole.
Going back to the video, it's sad to see the divorce rate go up in Japan. We might think their culture's crazy, but they see it perfectly normal in their eyes. It's the diverse point of views.

Also, there was another kid I knew who was fully mexican, yet he went along fine. See, modern youths' tolerance are changing, and if you actually LIVED THERE you would know. Books are contradictory and do not give you a full sense of what is going on. Self experience is something on another level. Pride issues are established, and mis informing government hinders choices about other races. This is true. Either way, you're taking it to the extreme. Stupid people in this world... just so sad.

i hate the comment count, anyway. lets try to go above this apparent rage you seem to have against the japanese and think more clearly. I agree that many japanese beleive in their japanese pride, and it can be in many places and generally difficult to get by as a foreigner, and personally i am reluctant to ever go there as a black male. However there is no reason within logic to ever consider an entire populace to be intolerant and narrow minded as you are making them out to be. its foolish.
