Lili Tomlin and Carole Burnette were my heroes growing up. If you watch clips of the Sonny and Cher show, Cher's got great comic timing as well, but played the straight here for Lily. Very gracious. I'll be she was a fan of Lily's!

This was actually later than 1971. It was either '75 or '76 and it was from the Cher Show.. the tv show she had after her divorce from Sonny. She was probably single then.. but.. it wasn't long after that she married Greg Allman.

Lily Tomlins was quite original in her portrayl of a Ma Bell Phone Operator. I have noticed over the years how Ms. Tomlins has Never taken the inititive to call me. Nope ....Nada....not even once. I know she's a Hot Potatoe and probably has men crawling to her in the mulitudes. But you would think that she could at least take the time to give ME at least One Ringie Dingie...!
