Its rock n roll, hell yeah. Train in Vain is one of the most perfect songs ever. Mick musta been stressed or nervous or something because he really botched his guitar parts. I like it tho. I would lay money that no one in the crowd even noticed because the band plays on like nothing is wrong and that's professionalism.

I don't think botched is the right word. It's hard to botch something you wrote. He has the artistic freedom to play the song anyway he wants to. I've heard him play this song several different ways. Sometimes he doesn't even finish the verse before going into the chorus. It all depends on what mood he was in. Besides I'd rather hear Mick Jones "botch" TIV than hear you or anyone else play it "perfectly."

@JESSESEIBEL actually, it was Mick's ex gf. Paul wasn't writing songs yet when this came out. it was Mick's idea for a song and Joe said Bored with USA instead of bored with you, would work. Obviously, it did.
