Changing chords cleanly is a skill that many people who consider themselves great guitarists lack. They don't realize how sloppy they are until they get into the studio and the producer can't get a decent take.

I'll take a guy who has spent a lot of time practicing his fundies over a sloppy showboat any day of the week.
