@R4chM4T7 just want to let you know, some of the vendors uses pork fat, but some dont too. so if you really want to try some chinese malaysian cuisine, its always better to ask first. also, there are some malay vendors selling char koey teow too (in my hometown during pasar malam), im sure those do not have pork fat.
With the skills in handling the wok, and the flaming strong fire, the char kway teow must be delicious!! Next time I'm back in Pulau Pinang, must certainly look this guy up,,hahaha.....

@R4chM4T7 if you are a muslim then better not, even though most char koey teow do not have pork meat, they uses pork fat for the cooking.
