Canobie Lake Park had one of these; So did Salisbury Beach, years ago. I miss them both. Maine is too far outside of my jurisdiction, so to speak.

They used to have a Galaxi at Canobie Lake in Salem, NH. It's gone now though. :(

When they got rid of the Galaxi, a little part of my childhood died right there. I loved this ride. It was a fun little coaster, and on one whole side of the park, you could always hear that unique clacking sound that it made when going over those safety catches. I miss hearing that sound.

I used to operate the Galaxi at Canobie, it was great until they decided to computerize the controls and took the fun out of the operators controlling the brakes
