@monsterwins Well, it's... strange, because Satre was/is one of the most popular and important philospher. And Guevara meets him at midnight, this great person (like he was). This is only a bit weird, but who can tell if it was bad for Paul^^?
@monsterwins Well, Abbasi is against this meeting, I think. He is kind of a fan of Satre. I don't think it's bad, neither Satre, otherwise he wouldn't meet Guevara.
So, it's actually not that bad, but Abbasi is totally against it, that's right.
@monsterwins "is this a good thing or bad thing for che guevara to receive jean paul satre at 2am? i dont get it? can someone tell me?" I think he is comparing Che's work ethic (being up at 2am to meet Sartre because there is a lot of work to do) to someone else in Iran (maybe the guy at the end of the video), but there is something missing for those of us who don't have the inside scoop.
@monsterwins in the first place Abbasi is crediting Che saying that his mission was so important to him that he could not care for people's "status" in the world...satre was the best known philosopher in his time...but che only gave him time when he had time, but also denied himself sleep to bring him closer to his mission...now, he resembles this attitude to the attitude of some of the iranian officials in oppositin to the current iranian regime and says they should learn from him! Go Abbasi
