yes he was faster in a straight line, but he almost crashed. it isnt the car you buy its how you drive it.
both are great car companies that push one another to make better and better products.
For me, i like the S4 because its AWD, i wont get stuck in the snow up and its a much less common car than a bmw which where i live are every other car. Much respect to BMW tho
The M5 is supposed to win this. These two cars are not built to be compared to each other. M3 vs RS4 and M5 vs RS6 and at the end of the day the M5 barely won.

It's all the same as you can see. The corvette zr1 is standard from factory, but it really is a modded corvette, supercharged to be exact.
100,000$+ car vs a 10000$ + 15,000$ in mods DOES not come down to how deep some ones pockets are. even the msrp of the s4 (40,000$) plus the money modding it is still a shitload cheaper than the M5... so it does apply
and the s4 engine is no slouch 2.7 bi turbo V6 is not the same as a 4pot 2.0

have to disagree with turbored009. RS4 WILL GET SMASHED. i repeat SMASHED by an M5 especially in the race that they just had because it has a higher top speed haha. RS6 yeah that would probably smash on a m5 but try an M6 with a twin turbo v12 anti lag...so its about 140,000 but that will shit on the RS6 like it was another log in the toilet bowl. cuz it is. haha. Yep. That MTM RS4 is a beast and would be I would love to see that against an M5. The MTM RS4 would have the HP advantage over the M5 though. 535hp to 500hp.
