  • PLEASE CORRECT THE FACTS ON THIS COMPOSITION! IT WAS COMPOSED BY MY DEAR FRIENDS RALPH MACDONALD AND WILLIAM SALTERS! THANKS, BOBBI HUMPHREY

  • Trade winds are blowing, blowing around me While all around me what do I see Hatred and jealousy Brotherhood is dying Love is the answer But nobody's buying Good people turning bad Some don't but they are few The winds are blowing The choice is all up to you We're caught in the trade winds The trade winds of our time Lyrics: Tradewinds, Rod Stewart
  • Rod Stewart Tradewinds Lyrics: (MacDonald / Salter) Here I stand looking, looking around me While all around me what do I see Unhappy faces behind a painted smile Heartache and loneliness dressed up in modern style Unhappy people living in sin and shame Reflections of myself, life is no easy game We're caught in the trade winds The trade winds of our time
  • We lost a member of Los Angeles Gospel Messenger and Southern California Community choir, Michelle "Mickey" Calhoun. She was a great alto. She is survived by her daughter, Tunisha, one sister, and mother, Dorothy Calhoun.

  • awe. this simply beautiful...Memories

  • this is a cool veido! C-Von is my cousin. Yeah back in the day when chruch was church!

  • I love this song. It was originally sung by Roberta Flack, I think, however, later covered by Rod Stewart.

It was written by Ralph MacDonald; William Salter.

  • This has always been one of my favorite Michael Harris & One songs. I especially like the part that says

    "Hatredness and jealousy

    Brotherhood is dying out

love is what we really need

    Nobody's buying

Seems they all are turning back

some don't but they are few"

Choose to stay in the race.

The choice is up to you!

  • Two of my nephew's friends who were close to me and my family went off to college and got into big big trouble and now face spending time in prison for their actions. They were normal children who made bad choices and the system has them. Everything was done to prevent this but the ultimate choice was theirs -- not to be caught up!!!

  • hee hee i like the girl with the toes poking through her jammies, i remember those footless pj's, up to my knees nearly!

  • She is the same girl that got married. That's my niece Monica. She used to tear up her socks. I'm with her rapping up the strings. You can see she was putting the socks in her mouth. Now she's 1 month married.

  • oh wow, i thought those were family videos but wasn't sure, i like how you put it together. my daughter had major issues with the tips of her socks bugging her so she would stretch it all out and fold em under. now she's in college, crazy. i don't know how much future we got left of this tho.

  • Such a beautiful song! I enjoyed your video, is that all your family? If so they must really like watching it,especially your niece(love the birthday cake scene).

    Kathleen

  • The words were beautifully written by Rod Stewart I think and it really fits what the youth are going through today. They are caught up...even the eight I read about who beat up the girl and posted it on the Tube. There is a huge responsibility on the parents to spend time with their children and make sure the voices of consciousness that they are hearing in their head will help them choose.

  • convicting, timely

  • Oh, you aready know I love this.. Beautiful I love the creativeness blended with the anoiting. Praise God. continue to let the Lord lead, guide on love you.

    Thanks again.... Stay encouraged

  • Sometimes, all we can do is look around us at the carnage of lost souls and seem unable to do anything but pray. It is my wish that someone through this video find the true rock to stand.
