I've studied DMT alot. It interests me more than any other drug. There have been reports of people having experiences of a sort of "spirit guide" that leads them through their trip. I believe this song is about following this entity when on your DMT and letting it lead you through the cosmos...

another time i was at my friends house tripping and was listening to their older stuff on my headphones and the song ended abruptly right as i closed the door from being outside it was like i was in a different world with the music outside and as i came inside the whole trip changed
when i was tripping balls i was enjoying my closed eye visuals and when i heard "dont close your eyes wake yourself from these dreams" i opened them up and saw grid patters in every texture and it was like "reality is ripping at the seems" it was so bizarre. Its like shpongle has such a deep profoundness and power to their music.

Honestly started listening to this today, Im impressed. I dont like a lot of trance music, but this is so varied and fascinating its hard not to fall in love with it.

Every artist on Twisted Records is pretty awesome, but Shpongle tops the list man. They have in my opinion the best psychedelic trance out there especially if you like more ambient type stuff.
Just want to reiterate HV's comment. Buy everything from Shpongle, individually the songs are incredible but as a whole album it creates a world for you to slip into for a bit. Same goes with Younger Brother and Hallucinogen and pretty much anything that is lucky enough to be sold on Twisted Records. And Sei, believe it or not there are still many who have not found Shpongle yet ;)

i was promising myself to live this experience without fixing words to it.. because that will make it narrow. and when nothing happens, you can talk much about it. Every artist on Twisted Records is pretty awesome, but Shpongle tops the list man. They have in my opinion the best psychedelic trance out there especially if you like more ambient type stuff.

Just want to reiterate HV's comment. Buy everything from Shpongle, individually the songs are incredible but as a whole album it creates a world for you to slip into for a bit. Same goes with Younger Brother and Hallucinogen and pretty much anything that is lucky enough to be sold on Twisted Records. And Sei, believe it or not there are still many who have not found Shpongle yet ;)
