  • mcgrady? there never be new mcgrady, we is the 1 and only. Just look at his game from houston or magic.

  • every time he touches the ball its a highlight.

  • Lamar Odom

  • Maybe there is no comparison for Perry Jones. Maybe he will set a new standard for the NBA

  • Kind of Andrew Blaytche

  • whats with the swirling screen? I feel like I'm going to puke all over this video now

  • RAAAAAPTORS!!!

  • no yall are stupid this dude is another paul george and he looks like him

  • terrible song

  • Reminds me a lot of Jonathan Bender

  • @smovaj Perry Jones didnt get a chance to play his natural game at baylor he was the only talented big... well at least to me

  • @JavelisFresh i know he is a very talented and versatile big man BUT to say he is a good as McGrady on the perimeter is CRAZY!!!! I don't invision him being a 2 time scoring champion but i guess we'll just have to see huh?

  • @smovaj

    VERY VERY true..

  • I've got the perfect comparison for this kid Roy Tarpley.

  • Quincy Miller (his new teammate) = Kevin Durant

    Perry Jones = Anthony Randolph

PJ made a big mistake going back to play PF next to Mill at SF.

  • @ry27sm Dammit I came here too write exactly what you wrote

  • He plays like KD minus some of his range

  • He plays like KD

  • he will never ever play small forward in the NBA, Scouts and GMs will tell you he will be most productive as a 4 or 5,

  • I wanna believe the T-Mac comparison but he's no T-Mac at Baylor. He looked more like McGrady in his high school days. Even nbadraft.net changed his comparison to Anthony Randolph. I think Perry's ceiling is KG with a mix of Odom and, if he works on his jumper, Durant.

  • @chromestocksbeamin I don't know if he's as aggressive as KG and his jumpshot would have to be world's apart from where it is now to catch durant, from what i saw from watching him on tv at baylor is that he has some skills in the post and can drive a little on the perimeter but doesn't show the seperation in skill that Tmac did at that age but then again baylor's offense was run around dunn who took too many bad shots so that could have hindered his true abilities

  • Lamar Odom maybe, I don't see anyone else. Havn't seen him pass much though.

  • Best Case: Kevin Garnett w some tmac attributes

Worse case: Anthony Randolph with more heart

  • he reminds me of a young tyson chandler with a little range

  • if he's still on the board for Minnesota, he can be the next Kevin Garnett here in Minneapolis. Hopefully our staff can convince this version to stay his whole career..

  • This kid is have a very high ceiling if he works hard and focus on being great basketball player. He still young and might grow another inch or 2.

    Hybrid Kevin Garnett.

  • Reminds me a little of a poor man's version of Durant.

  • @urbancowboyNJ accept taller faster and better handles... attacks instead of shooting.. and has shot blocking skills.. virtually identical

  • He's Shawn Kemp mixed with Kevin Garnett. I hope the Kings get him and run him at 4, Cousins at 5. Or at 3 with Cousins 4 & Dalembert 5. Nasty!!

  • @smovaj hes been forced to play inside his whole time at baylor.... if you had seen him during his aau days you wouldve seen where the t-mac comparisons are coming from....

  • Future Raptor right there.

  • Perry Jones can play the wing and he has good ball handling skills, we don't get to see all that at Baylor because they need his size in the paint

I think he is going to be a STAR in the NBA...Hopefully he don't go to Cleveland though lol

  • i dont see any tracy mcgrady in his game. tall long and versatile i guess but he is no where near as athletic as mcgrady was at that age, not even close. on top of that his ball handling isnt as good. thats a bad comparison

  • @smovaj tmacs ball handling wasnt great either

  • @greatwytehyte you dont watch basketball do you? T-Mac handled the ball like a very skilled pg. Remember in Orlando when he had no help and led the league in scoring? He was defender by the other teams best player plus was doulbe and tripled teamed the whole game but he split the D and scored over and over again. smh, casual fan huh???

  • @smovaj he was probably talking the toronto t-mac young t-mac out of high school

  • @smovaj i agree but he is really athletic, tracy mcgrady is def shorter than him though which makes a load of difference

  • @jaredross1 T-Mac is 6'9, not much different. There is nothing wrogn with him not being as athletic as McGrady was, VERY FEW were. I didn't mean to ruin the video lol just keepin it real. I think he will be a good player in the league.

  • @smovaj Inch for Inch he is just as athletic as T-Mac was. T-Mac had maybe the best handles of any SF, EVER. This kid has amazing handles for his height and position.

If you disagree with that then you disagree with every single scout.

  • @s0ngx thats fine, scouts are wrong all the time. Ever heard of Kwame Brown? I know he is a hell of a player but just remember how good McGrady was when he was Perry Jones age. And its just an opinion, we wont know for sure for a few years but i'd bet the pot on T-Mac all day. No one could stop him when he was healthy
