There are plenty of singers, including Chris Brown and Trey Songz who don't have perfect pitch but their singing still sound good. Ne-Yo even admitted that he doesn't have perfect pitch in one of the interviews I saw of him a while back. Drake can't really sing very well at all. Yet, lots of people still praise them on their singing, but because T-Pain uses Auto-Tune, his vocals without it has to be extremely PERFECT before anybody wants to give him any credit. SMH

If people REALLY wanted to know if T-Pain could sing without Auto-Tune, this video would've had a million views a LONG time ago. So they continue to search up songs with Auto-Tune rather than actually looking for the many songs he has without it.
Itd be really stupid to use auto-tune if you can't sing to begin with. At live concerts, you're gonna sound horrible without it! So why try to cover up bad singing when the real voice will come out eventually? If youre like t-pain and you don't need autontune you just use it to make your music sound cooler, that's okay. Because he can bak himself up and keep fans with a real, good voice.

If funny, but most people don't know that you actually have to know how to sing to use autotune properly. Autotune puts you closest to the note you are singing....if you are extremely flat then it will drop your note when you should be on key....and vice versa. If Teddy Pain couldn't sing then autotune wouldn't work as well for him as it does. Personally, I don't like autotune....I perfer melodyne. It does the t-pain effect so much better!

If funny, but most people don't know that you actually have to know how to sing to use autotune properly. Autotune puts you closest to the note you are singing....if you are extremely flat then it will drop your note when you should be on key....and vice versa. If Teddy Pain couldn't sing then autotune wouldn't work as well for him as it does. Personally, I don't like autotune....I perfer melodyne. It does the t-pain effect so much better!
