yeah age isn't a big issue..overall staleness of certain rockers that have gotten older maybe but not Rush, they're just delivering some old faithfuls to the fans and they are real deal "big time" and most "Muscians" will always praise Rush.A very polished 3 pc..They can rip heads off with a full tilt instrumental at any time
I liked this song when I was in high school, but it's a little odd to watch a 50 year old man sing about high school angst. Rockers growing old just doesn't work.
Hi chick, no offense to the person who wrote that comment, but I find their comment entirely ignorant and assinine. It makes no sense. It's attaching the artist in a physical way to the art. Like a man couldn't write passionately from a woman's point of view or vice-versa, or a black person from a whites or any other superficial attribute. That comment made by p1q0 is just ridiculous. Art stands by itself regardless...there's just no rationalizing to that comment. it just offended me ;)
@p1q0 I dunno. What's weirder? Seeing Geddy Lee sing about high school angst or a 65 year old Roger Daltry sing the lyric "I hope I die before I get old"?
Considering I spent 3/4 of the show with my arms up in the air trying to grow up a couple more inches to avoid the people ahead of me yes that's one heck of camera work !!! LOL! Thanks for the comment!
Saw them in ATL last year and going again later this month to see them again at a new amphitheater here. Last summer at the show, saw the best t-shirt ever...."Who died and made you Geddy Lee?.....wish I knew where the guy got it.
I was at that concert, it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Through half the concert I was wondering why there was big cooker things behind them, I found out they were the speakers made to look like rotisserie cookers, cooking chicken, it was pretty cool.
I Saw these guys play at blossom music center on August 30 and when Subdivisions came up i started screaming my lungs out and sang-a-long with these very funny teenagers while the song was going. GEDDY LEE ROCKS!!!

To me a great song is ageless regardless of lyrics or how old is that who sings it. Thanks for the comment!

Right on Cat...
Besides, the message of people not being able to fit in is universal. Every age group, every race and gender had it's misfits.

If that's how you appreciate art, than you don't appreciate it at all. RUSH doesn't need fans like you ;)
