so why is everyone arguing on what instrument that is. after 1990 3 valved horns were allowed so its not like theres any physical difference that can be made in this video to distinguish them.

There is one funny thing about G Bugles, THEY HAVE TWO VALVES! Open your eyes and watch it again, that horn has three. Also G Bugles cannot play a low Eb, which he did.

In 1990 3 piston G-bugles were legalized for use in competition drum corps. They are all playing G bugles in this video.

They made 3-valve G Bugles ( I know, I have one) and G Bugles can't play a low Eb the same way a Bb trumpet cannot play a low Eb. called a pedal tone
