other countries think that the canadian accent uses "aBOAT/aBOOT" and stuff, but in canada we refer to that as the newfoundland accent, SOME people from that province speak that way, otherwise i think we sound mostly the same as the states (minus the specific region accents in the states like boston accent), just a geographical fyi - this is what ive found living in toronto and having visited the east and west coasts and meeting some newfoundlanders
