  • Its good, but the only issue i'm seing here is that the movement for the clip in is way too...i guess you can say it moves too far left for that. The return to origin is also a bit slow. If you take a look at how Majority of the Halo carbines are animated, it's trying to get across that it's a weapon that you use for speed takedowns. Thus the High Damage and Decent ROF. If the animations are slow it ends up looking very poor

    Animate it, then render it with motion blur and some nice lighting.

  • @ODX999 Which is what Halo 3 and beyond all do in real time... I hope Anniversary edition of Halo CE will hit the PC.

    Yeah it looks slightly jerky/fast...also it's an origin.

    In Halo we actually have a real animation called the "idle" where the gun actually moves and such.

  • OMG that animation is so fucking awesome!! And the model and textures are good as well, that spartan arm is like the best I have ever seen!!!

    The barrel moves back at the mag-out actually. Originally [like I believe you are saying] I had a WIP reload where he pulled the barrel back to open the hatch and let the mag fly out but...the barrel's side is so small that I couldn't get the hand to look right when doing that. I'll experiment with the hatch a bit more though, thanks for everything ICEE

    Originally I was going for something more unique, but it just kind of turned into this. Personally Reach's is bad and deserved a re-doing :P
