trailer cuz we had just finished our show and some of us were shouting "good luck!" to them, being nice u kno, & their response was "o, we dont need it." talk about some conceited buttwipes, gahh. still a great band tho other than their attitudes

byrnes is a great band marching-wise & how they play n stuff. but boy do they need an attitude check or somethin. talk about stuck upp snobs v.v my band played at the freedom classic, we're all bigg fans btw, & saw them getting off the buses as we were putting stuff back in the buses & (continued on next post)

i love all this attitude over marching band.... if you don't like byrnes, get off this page. problem solved! phew that was a tough one... its band people. we had fun. period.

Their drumline was awful this year. Minus the basses. Their center snare had the worst technique in the entire battery. Nearly all the snares and tenors have horrible technique.

@Snarician My best friend was drum captain that year and he was a wonderful tenor player. Both of the tenors are some of the best drummers that I know and I know many talented drummers. Who are you to insult? You probably suck more than you're calling other people out on.

@sabre0711 By "this year" I was referring to this past marching season. Seems like there's confusion that I'm talking about the battery in this video. And I've actually made All-State band multiple times.

@Snarician Of course there is confusion since you are commenting on this particular year's video. Since you did not specify and you just used the word, "this", it can easily be taken as an insult to the drumline on this particular video. Have you ever heard the phrase, "If you do not have anything nice to say, then do not say it"? Don't go around insulting others like you're better, because I promise that you're not perfect.

@Snarician Not to mention that our center snare was thrown at the spot after mostly playing the tenors. After Pipe Dreams, our tenors were gone, so we had to hurry and replace the spots. For something thrown together like an emergency, they did wonderful.

I'm not with Wando, and whoever said that? Lol. But aside the point, I call it like I see it. If you have the quality, then you should have the "placement". You have to have the musical talent and the marching talent. I go by the scores and well, thats all that matters. Good luck this season. To be the best, you have to beat the best.

omg!! i havent watched this since right after state when we were all back in the band room !! nd idc what anybody says.. we were amazing out there !! it was an almost perfect performance for us !! and i am damn proud of it !! we rocked that sh*t !! just wanna say good luck to the RR this year !! i'll be in stands cheering y'all on all the way !! i *almost* wish i was still in band w/ y'all .. i just dnt kno if i could handle the star wars or trek or watever it is y'all are doin this yr !

Dude, we kicked ass. I honestly believe that Boiling Springs and Wondo deserved to beat us though. They were REALLY good. Although Wondo was very boring, they were amazing with the footwork. Anyway, JessOnTheRun, tell any one of those kids out there that it was limited movement and they'd hunt you down. That closer was absolutly insane to march. Real talk.

very impressive wind ensemble, arrangement, staging is good, but rather boring with limited movement and field design. percussion book is a bit overwritten, battery plays in a few delicate sections that take away from showcasing the sensitivity of other sections.

I admit this is not as good as someone like the blue devils but Byrnes is not a professional band.... Out of high school bands, they are the best... Go look at boiling springs and how horrible there's is

Gosh, I REALLY miss doing this show over and over again. As much as I complained doing it & listening to Mac say "one more time!" a thousand times, i miss this show. :(
