The 3D in this video when using cross-eyed hasn't been rendered correctly. There's too much horizontal interference, it ruins the effect and makes all motion blend together. Very distracting.

this is not 3D, because the camera angles are the same, its just one perspective and slightly panned to right and left for each eye, but each eye should have a perspective.

Ooh, thats horrid, I'm left handed, so my brain works on opposite sides, as if in a mirror. This means I got to switch the sides of the screen on cross eye, and when I look at it, i get a middle bar showing both screens at the same time, throwing me off. on top of that, I don't think the screens are synchronized, so it throws me off even more. But other than that, it looks like it could've turned out good.

whoever did this used a really crap converter, what it does is take two exact same pics and then skew and stretch, and also delay one pic from the other a tiny bit, it kinda works, but its not great, theres a great street fighter 3d vid out there that does it proper though, i'll still give ya a ten 4 effort though as ive seen some really bad conversions out there, and this isnt that bad, just, could be a bit better, plus, points for usin spongebob, he rocks man!

I can confirm that this is NOT in 3D. No way, no how.

I downloaded the mp4 file, separated the left/right, fixed the time lag and matched the frames up.

Both "eyes" are identical, which means a yt3d tag will never make it 3D.

For real 3D, the images need to have a slightly different angle of the same action.

The time lag method works only if the camera is moving sideways at a steady pace - like if it's pointed out a train window or something (it's called the Pulfrich effect).

That's not 3D, all you've done is put a time lag between the two eyes :P

That technique works with video filmed out of the side of a moving vehicle - doesn't work with anything else though. Thumbs down!

The images aren't synced up properly. But if they were, it doesn't look to me that the Right and Left images are different from each other. If they are the same, and were properly synced, you'd be watching a normal 2D SpongeBob but with crossed eyes. Not worth the eye strain.
