Actually, it is real. Watched it myself.

While it is very good for fan-made films, the acting could have been better, the fights longer, and some other miscellaneous improvements made.

It is kinda enjoyable, I wouldn't exactly recommend it unless you're a die-hard fan and you must see it, but you can get some enjoyment.

Also, Roll is very creepy in that movie. o_e

There are a lot of scenes with references to the game...and Wily steals de whole attention.

The best part is the assault to wily's castle playing the BGM from the first stage wily's castle from MM2. That worth the whole movie.

@yburner Someone's not up on his video game or movie history. First of all, Mega Man was indeed created in Japan, by a Japanese company called Capcom. They also made the Street Fighter and Breath of Fire franchises, amongst others. Also, this was a FANFILM, meaning independent-made. Astro Boy was made by an actual professional company. This was an indepdent film made without the big budget of Hollywood films. And for an independent film, it's quite spectacular.

as for the 20xx thing, the x's are variables. In the games they were used to keep the player from knowing exactly when things were taking place.

the first game took place in the year 200X, meaning any time between 2000-2009. The following games in the classic series take place anywhere between 2010-2099, and so on and so forth.

THis is an actual fan movie that is in the works. So far as I know, they have not gotten in trouble with Capcom or the creator of Megaman. They've been working on it for a while now, but it seems they'll be finished and showing it this summer.

My opinion is that even if you think its terrible, you have to commend them for putting up the effort.

Sides, theirs is probally going to be better then whatever Hollywood could whip up.
